A former Deputy Speaker of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Hon. Okon Uwah, on Wednesday slumped and died during a campaign rally.
Uwah before his death was the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Ukanafun State Constituency in the April 11 State House of Assembly election. Uwah slumped at the residence of his in-law, Godwin Udoko while holding a political consultation with his supporters.
