So many controversial events have happened this political season. More people have become concerned about politics and how it affects their daily lives. Even more people are asking pertinent questions. One of such questions is, “what is the stand of the Church on the direction the nation is headed?” While some are saying the Church should not be involved in Government, others are saying Christians should not be involved in Politics at all.
These concerns will be addressed on Sunday, the 22nd of March 2015 at a Townhall meeting organized by Faith and Politics – a platform set up by a group of influential Christian leaders. Notable speakers will include Professor Yemi Osinbajo (SAN), Senior Pastor, Olive Tree Parish of RCCG and APC’s Vice Presidential Candidate, Mr Leke Alder – renowned speaker and Brand Strategist, Pastor Wale Adefarasin of Guiding Light Assembly, Bishop Mike Okonkwo of The Redeemed Evangelical Missions (TREM) and Mr Ayo Olowofoyeku, PDP House of Representative Candidate, Osun State.
