Three of the suspects arrested for allegedly being members of the Kogi State Boko Haram cell were on Thursday freed by an Abuja Federal High Court after the State Security Service said no evidence was found against them.

The SSS informed the court that upon the conclusion of investigations, there was no evidence against the 3rd, 4th and 5th accused persons – Mustapha Yusuf, Ismaila Abdulazeez and Ibrahim Isa Hayafu.

As a result of the development, the trial judge, Justice Gabriel Kolawole, discharged the three suspects.
