The Hemingway Foundation/PEN Award for 2012, which was won by Nigerian writer, Teju Cole for his novel Open City, will be presented at a ceremony scheduled to hold on Sunday at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in Boston, USA.
Cole will receive the award from Patrick Hemingway, the son of the Nobel laureate Ernest Hemingway. The Hemingway Award, which includes a $10,000 cash prize, was founded in 1976 by the writer’s widow.? Author Andre Dubus III, author of ‘House of Sand and Fog’ and ‘Townie’, will be the keynote speaker at the ceremony.
