Jamaican sprint great, Usain Bolt, has no plans to extend his career beyond the 2017 World Championships in London and has ruled out a return to Australia for the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
The 30 year old will lead an international team of “All Stars” in the Nitro Athletics series against four other teams representing England, China, New Zealand and Japan.
The first meeting is on February 4, with the other races on February 9 and 11.
“It is going to be something different, not going to be normal and a lot more exciting. I feel personally, it is a great idea. This is why I am a part of it.” Bolt said.
Usain Bolt will have to hand back one of his nine Olympic gold medals after Jamaican team-mate Nesta Carter tested positive for a banned substance.
Carter was part of the Jamaican quartet that won the 4x100m in Beijing in 2008.
His was one of 454 doping samples retested by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) last year, and has been found to contain the prohibited substance methylhexaneamine.
Carter, 31, was also part of the squad that won the event at London 2012.
He may be the fastest man on earth but Usain Bolt can also spit some serious rhymes.
The 30-year-old Olympic athlete beat The Late Late Show host James Corden in an epic Drop the Mic rap battle on Wednesday’s show where he poked fun at the Brit’s weight, among other jibes.
‘I can’t believe you entered this battle to be a winner, you only can outrun me if someone yells ‘dinner’, Usain cheekily rapped at the TV host.

Face off: Usain Bolt destroyed James Corden during an epic rap battle on Wednesday night’s episode of The Late Late Show
The sprinter gave it his best trash talk as the segment started telling the actor: ‘I was born ready, you’re on my track now, I don’t care, I win everywhere.’
As the beat started Corden, 38, started strong as he came at the Jamaican star saying: ‘After all those races you won in Brazil, you’re about to lose to a man who’s standing still.
‘Now athletes aren’t great at math, so I hope this helps. You have 14 gold medals less than Michael Phelps.’

Usain rapped at the host: ‘You think you’re a star, but little do you know, most people in here think they’re watching the Kevin James show.’
But Usain had the crowd in giggles as he hit back: ‘You think you’re a star, but little do you know, most people in here think they’re watching the Kevin James show.’
Corden came back with: ‘Jamaicans all love you, which is no surprise, for a country where one in three people is high,’
The English star also quipped: ‘You’re f**kin’ six foot five so look out everybody Frankenstein has arrived!’

The Olympian mocked the host’s prowess in bed as well as his show’s ratings.
‘I have nine gold medals, last time I checked – I have one for every time that you had sex.’
He also rapped: ‘This show should end faster than one of my sprints.’

Usain Bolt says he should not be judged by his culture after raising concern about how the press covers his `womanising.’ According to the Jamaican sprinter the British press is always trying to make him out to be a bad guy who loves women.
“You can’t judge a different culture by your own culture. In England when you get famous the first thing you do is get married and have kids. “In Jamaica it’s different — like my parents had me; and they got married 11 years later,” Bolt told GQ.
The record-breaking runner is currently dating Kasi Bennett, but it doesn’t appear as though he’ll be settling down anytime soon.
“In Jamaica, we wine on each other. It’s our culture. People see it the first time; they’re like, what is going on? It’s like they’re having sex in the club! No, that’s just the culture. It’s how we are,” Bolt explained.
Bolt made headlines during the Summer Olympics after a photo surfaced of him holding 20-year-old Brazilian student Jady Duarte. The photos were intimate of the two cuddling in bed, not leaving much to the imagination.
There were also reports he brought others back to his room during his stay in Rio de Janeiro. Despite the controversies, Bolt put an exclamation mark on his career in this year’s Summer Olympic Games.
Bolt took home gold medals in the 100 m, 200 m and 4 x 100 m relay for the third straight Olympics. After this performance he said he plans to retire on top.
Borussia Dortmund CEO, Hans-Joachim Watzke has confirmed that nine-time Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt will join the Bundesliga side.
Bolt had earlier stated in an interview with The Guardian UK that he has, “genuinely been talking to some people,” regarding a switch from athletics to football, and later appeared on the Dortmund training ground.
The CEO of the German giants has now made it clear the 30-year-old sprinter will join the club’s training although he seems to have little chance of securing a permanent deal.
Watzke told Kicker,”It is not a joke that Bolt will train with us at some point.
“This decision was made a while ago. Puma chief Bjorn Gulden, who is also part of our board of directors, told me some time ago that Usain had asked him if he could train with us sometime.
“I immediately said that was not a problem and the coach [Thomas Tuchel] is okay with it as well.
“It will obviously not happen when we have two games in one week, but probably when things are a bit more quiet. The team will like it as well.
Watzke however, dismissed any suggestion that Bolt could soon be walking out on Signal Iduna Park as part of Tuchel’s squad.
He added, “We do not have to talk about us offering him a contract.
“But we feel flattered that he wants to train with us. It is an honour.”
The Jamaican sprinter will go down as one of the all-time great Olympians having claimed nine gold medals across three Games in 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay.
Usain Bolt turned up for his first day at work in dapper black suit after his Olympic glory.
The 30-year-old fastest man on earth has taken up a role as ‘chief speed officer’ with a company after completing his historic ‘triple triple’ at the Rio Games.
He posted a picture in his suit next to his Nissan GTR as he prepared to make the morning commute, before sharing images of himself seemingly sending a tweet on his computer.
After reuniting with Kasi Bennett, Usain Bolt jetted off to Bora Bora for a sunshine break and it seems that the exotic location served as the perfect backdrop for a proposal. The 30-year-old athlete shared moments from their trip with fans in a series of videos on Snapchat.
In one post, the couple relax on a boat with floral garlands around their necks. He captioned the snap: “She said yes,” adding a bride and heart emoji.
In another image of the young couple clinking glasses he made it clear that he was unfazed by the drama, telling fans: “The only person opinion that matters #vacation.”
One person that will welcome any engagement news is his mother Jennifer Bolt. She told CNN’s Don Riddell at Rio 2016 that she was desperate for grandchildren. “I would hope he’ll settle down, get married and start his family,” she said. “I know he’ll settle down because he has said it. He told me many times that he’s going to start his family.”
Usain Bolt and his girlfriend will not split up after photos of the Olympic hero with another woman surfaced, his sister has revealed.
Bolt’s big sister, Christine Bolt-Hylton, 32, has said that Usain Bolt and his girlfriend Kasi Bennett, 26, are a solid couple and will stay together because they are so in love.
Brazilian student Jady Duarte, 20, shared pictures which appear to show her kissing and cuddling Bolt after his 30th birthday bash in Rio.And further photos of Usain kissing and dancing with a third girl also came to light yesterday morning.
Speaking from her hometown of St Andrews near Kingston, Jamaica, Christine said:
‘I’m sure Kasi will be used to it by now. She is used to seeing pictures like this.’People ask for pictures with him and he is always willing to have pictures. She is used to him being in the public domain.”I don’t think anything happened between him and the Brazilian girl,’ she added of the snaps with Jady. He loves Kasi too much to jeopardise the relationship.’I’m looking at the pictures and it doesn’t look like he was doing anything with her.’
Asked if Kasi will be upset, Christine, who is Usain’s half-sister, continued:
‘The pictures are of a young girl. I know she will be upset. But she will talk to him and I know they can work their difficulties out.’Usain doesn’t believe in cheating. Normally when we speak he sees he is against stuff like that. He has never done this before as far as I know.
‘When he was much younger he was popular with the girls but from when they have been together he hasn’t done anything like that. If they were together as she is saying they were, I think she had planned for her to take the photographs and expose him for ‘cheating’.’
Asked if her little brother should apologise, Christine said:
‘Kasi was definitely OK with the party pictures. The pictures with the girl he should definitely apologise for.He would never cheat. He was brought up by his parents never to do such things.
‘He was brought up in a Christian home and his mother doesn’t support that lifestyle. So I don’t think he would ever cheat.’I think Kasi will talk to him and they will make a decision about what to do together.’Speaking from personal experience and being close to him, he is definitely objected to cheating.’I do think that Kasi and Usain will work on past whatever it was and move on with their lives.’He has got to be careful because of his actions.’
Usain Bolt put his sprinting supremacy beyond doubt.
With one of his coasting-at-the-end performances in the 200 meters on Thursday, Justin Gatlin still couldn’t get close as the Jamaican won a record 10th gold medal at the world championships.
Looking left and failing to see any red from Gatlin’s jersey, Bolt lifted both arms and punched his thumbs into his chest to show once again he is the greatest sprinter of all time.
With a time of 19.55 seconds, he set the best time of the season. And despite slowing down, he still beat Gatlin by .19 – much more than the .01 second edge Bolt had in Sunday’s 100 final.
Bolt is now 2-0 in Beijing against Gatlin, who had been unbeaten in two seasons, with only the 4×100 relay to come on Saturday.
Once he sat down to savor his victory on a trackside chair, Gatlin came over to congratulate Bolt and the two rivals shook hands and chatted.
