From Beyoncé’s Lemonade to the much-hyped La La Land starring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, it’s been an incredible year for film. And in order to properly celebrate it, Indiewire critic David Ehrlich has created a supercut of the 25 best films 2016 had to offer.
For his fifth consecutive year, Ehrlich totally nails it: The list includes some of the most beautiful, emotional, weird, terrifying, and epic films of 2016. Every choice is well worth a watch, and his artful supercut is guaranteed to have you running to the theater.
