On Friday, singer Oritsefemi had a brawl with some of the bouncers at Quilox Night club in Lagos.
After a scuffle which later turned bloody, we still cannot ascertain who is telling the truth until investigations are concluded. However, Omojuwa.Com got hold of some pictures and a video that may show some insight into how terrible the fight was.
The Bouncer was badly wounded as he was stabbed on his face narrowly missing his eyes by inches. What could have brought about such infuriating behaviour is still being speculated. Irrespective of what the reason might be, it is clearly evident that Oritsefemi was inches away from taking a human life. This kind of barbaric behaviour should not be tolerated in the Nigerian music industry and we do sincerely hope that justice is meted out to both the aggressor and the victim of this unfortunate incident.
Quilox is becoming rather popular for rowdy and incessant fighting in recent times. Many popular artistes have been involved in one brawl or the other in that same club. Could it be what they are drinking? We never can tell but we do hope that something is done seriously to ensure that Quilox does not become a murder scene.

Read Oritsefemi’s side of the brawl story, management may sue Quilox.
On Friday, singer Oritsefemi had a brawl with some of the bouncers at Quilox Night club in Lagos. His management has released a statement stating his own side of the story. Read below:
On Friday 11th 2016, at exactly 2am at Quilox Night Club. Oriste Femi was attacked by a bouncer just because he was trying to stand for an older Colleague and a friend According to His Management MSN GANG the Double wahala & Ongba Larami singer was at Quilox on Friday trying to ease off stress with his friends at the VIP corner of the said club when he noticed a senior colleague and a brother Sound sultan and Rock Steady were been bounced from entering the VIP section of the club.
Oriste Femi who was not happy with the bouncers behavior stood up to ask the bouncer why he was putting up such attitude to An A list Artiste and a brother, the bouncer replied that an order was placed Down by Shina Peller the CEO of the club that no A list Artist should be allowed into the VIP section, claiming the A list Artiste were not his costumers and they have no value at his Club Just because of his rift with Davido [Does that make any sense at all].
After which, The bouncer told him to keep to his section or go join his colleague at the regular section. Femi who we all know to be a very humble and calm person accept the offer to join his colleague at the regular section but was pushed back by the bouncer, Before he could say Jack the other Bouncer was already rough Handling him. Oriste Femi who was holding a cup of wine had to defend himself by slapping the bouncer with the wine cup which gave the bouncer a scar on the face.
Without waiting for Explanation the other Bouncers in the club came in and attack Oriste Femi and in d process of the attack Oriste femi’s 8.5million Naira worth of jewelry was stolen by the club bouncers, before the crowd will stand up to protest against the club bouncers attitude, Oriste femi was already injured. Even with the injury he was held down by the bouncer s and the management of the club claiming they were waiting for the arrival of Police.
On the Arrival of police oriste femi and the bouncer were arrested and taken to the police station were the ipo in charge of the case ordered Oriste femi to Treat the injured bouncer which he did and even Gave the bouncer extra cash for self-medication.
The IPO also ordered the Bouncer and the Club Management to Provide Oriste femi’s 8.5million Naira worth of jewelry which he Hasn’t received till now. If we all will recur these Same Quilox was the same place Dammy Krane got messed up by Bouncers, these same club was the same club Davido got Confronted by this same Bouncers What Kind of Club is THIS? Drama Continua: I was chilling at the VIP section, Oritsefemi lied – Sound Sultan
Nigerian singer, Sound sultan has denied his involvement in the fight between MSN Gang artiste, Oritsefemi and a bouncer at Lagos big club, Quilox as claimed by Oritsefemi’s team.
The statement released by the oritsefemi’s team reads: “On Friday 11th 2016, at exactly 2am at Quilox Night Club. Oritsefemi was attacked by a bouncer just because he was trying to stand for an older colleague and a friend.
“Oritsefemi was at the VIP corner when he noticed Sound sultan and Rock Steady were been bounced from entering the VIP section of the club. Oriste Femi who was not happy with the bouncers behavior stood up to ask the bouncer why he was putting up such attitude to An A list Artiste and a brother, the bouncer replied that An order was placed Down by Shina Peller the CEO of the club that no A list Artist should be allowed into the VIP section, claiming the A list Artiste were not his costumers and they have no value at his Club Just because of his rift with Davido.”
Sound sultan, who is also a cousin to the CEO of Quilox, took to his Instagram page @soundsultan, refuting the statement, saying he was chilling at VIP section and not denied entrance.

He wrote: “Misinformation, I was chilling in the VIP as every other time in my Cousins club,”
Recall that reports had it that Oritsefemi was attacked by a bouncer at about 2am on the said day, because he was trying to stand for an older colleague and a friend.
Quilox Fires Back: Oritse Femi pretended to collapse, his rage was unprovoked.
Following the brawl that ensued at Quilox on Friday, the management of the nightclub has accused Oritse Femi of sparking the conflict.
In a statement released Monday morning, Quilox said Oritse Femi came into the club without prior reservation and pleaded to be accommodated in a “patron’s table of six”.
The club noted that the singer, after being accommodated, proceeded to drink from the patron’s bottle and also tried to bring “eight of his guests” to the table.
The patron was said to have been incensed and subsequently informed a bouncer of the singer’s attitude. The bouncer’s intervention, the statement noted, infuriated Oritse Femi and he lost his cool.
Quilox maintains that Oritse Femi pretended to collapse after stabbing the bouncer and causing a scene.
The statement reads:
“At about 2am on Saturday, 13th of Nov. 2016, Oritsefemi came into Quilox without prior reservations or table bookings. Tables are allocated to customers who have made prior paid table bookings in advance of their arrival except such customer is a patron or member of the club.
“However, Oritsefemi who did not fall into any of the categories above approached a patron’s table-of-six and pleaded to be accommodated, with the understanding that other guests of the said patron were still been expected.
“In a surprising turn of events, Oristsemi who was drinking from the patron’s bottle attempted to sit 8 of his guests at the table, the surprised patron strongly rejected such effrontery and invited the bouncer guarding the floor to intervene.
“The bouncer politely approached Oritsefemi and told him the patron’s guests were still being expected, but Oristefemi, in a fit of unprovoked rage, slapped the bouncer then proceeded to break a glass in his hand and stabbing him in the eye.
“The scene quickly became rowdy as other customers rushed to the table and confronted the artist for his violent behavior, our security team quickly stepped in to salvage the situation by carrying Oristefemi out of the club.
“Oristefemi faced by an enraged crowd outside and perhaps realizing the gravity of his offense pretended to collapse. The artist and the bouncer were subsequently rushed to a nearby hospital.
“The bouncer affected later pressed charges at Bar Beach police station, where Oritsefemi accepted his offense and pleaded for mercy, he was granted bail at 12pm on the 13th of Nov. and advised to report back to the station on Tues. 15th of Nov. 2016.
“We were hesitant to release a press statement as several well-meaning people have attempted to intercede on behalf of the artist, but after his malicious and grossly false account of the events that occurred, it is only fair that we defend the integrity and ethos of our organization.”

Popular Nigerian singer, Majemite Ekele, aka Oritsefemi, was involved in a brawl at the Quilox nightclub in Lagos on Saturday.
According to the ‘Double Wahala’ crooner, violence ensued when one of the club security officers pushed him aside when he tried to exit the VIP section of the nightspot.
Eyewitnesses say the artiste was hanging out at the VIP section of the club when he noticed one of the club security personnel trying to restrict his fellow artistes, Sound Sultan and Rocksteady, from joining the VIP.
He reportedly made attempts to explain to the club official that the A-list artistes be allowed to enter. His request was however overturned as the security officer insisted that they wouldn’t be allowed in based on an instruction from the management.
He was advised to join the regular section since he was keen on hanging out with his colleagues.
A video capturing the entire episode is currently making rounds on social media.
Meanwhile the management of the Delta State-born artiste has purportedly released a statement.

On the arrival of police, Femi and the bouncer were arrested and taken to the police station where the IPO in charge of the case ordered Femi to treat the injured bouncer which he did and even gave the bouncer extra cash for self-medication.?The IPO also ordered the bouncer and the club management to provide Oritse Femi’s jewellery, which he hasn’t received till now. If we all will recall, this same Quilox was the same place Dammy Krane got messed up by bouncers, same club Davido got confronted by this same bouncers.”
