73-year old Mick Jagger welcomes 8th child with his 29-year old girlfriend
A rep for Jagger released a statement confirming the birth of the rocker’s son.
The rep said:
“Melanie Hamrick and Mick Jagger’s son was born today in New York and they are both delighted”.“Mick was at the hospital for the arrival.” The rep added that both Hamrick, who is more than 40 years Jagger’s junior, and the baby are “doing well,”
The rep added:
“We request that the media respect their privacy at this time.”
The couple began dating in 2014, after his former longtime girlfriend, fashion designer L’Wren Scott, committed suicide.
Mick Jagger now has 8 children in total. A daughter, Karis Hunt Jagger, 46, from his relationship with Marsha Hunt and a daughter, Jade Jagger, now 45, with his ex-wife Bianca. He had four children with his ex-partner Jerry Hall – Elizabeth, 32, James, 31, Georgia, 24, and Gabriel, 18.
He also has five grandchildren and became a great-grandfather on 19 May 2014, when Jade’s daughter Assisi gave birth to her daughter.
My husband left because I refused to give him oral Sex, wife tells court
A 42-year-old woman, Fausat Ayinde, has approached a Lagos Island Customary Court on Thursday for the dissolution of her 15-year-old marriage on the grounds of emotional abuse.
Fausat told the court that her husband deserted her because she refused him oral sex, adding that he made her feel inferior because of his complaints and verbal abuse.
The fruit seller said that their marital problems started five years ago when her interior decorator husband came back from a trip to Port-Harcourt and asked her to suck his genital.
“My husband got back from a trip and asked me to suck him, something we have never done since we got married.
“When I refused he told me that is what other girls do to him outside, since then my husband stopped making love to me,’’ she said.
The mother of two said her husband also started complaining about her dress sense and her cooking.
She added that he packed out of the matrimonial home three years ago and rented another apartment two houses from her with another woman.
Fausat said that her husband came to her house on Nov. 8 to beat her up and pack out her belongings.
“I am tired of the marriage; I have reported him to his family countless times but he has refused to change.
“Since he left, I have been the one responsible for the upkeep of the children,” she said.
She prayed the court to dissolve the marriage, give her custody of their children Ahmeed 15, and Ahmeedat 12, adding that the husband should be responsibility for their upkeep.
The husband, Lukman Ayinde, 45, told the court that the genesis of their marital problems was not sexual.
Lukman said that the basis of their issues was that his wife did not know how to take care of herself, her home, her man and children.
He said that on many occasions, he had tried to upgrade her to his taste by buying her dresses, shoes and bags.
He said that his wife was also very stubborn and had refused to change, adding, “she dresses awkwardly and is unattractive’’.
“I have complained about her dress sense severally, my wife can wear mismatched top and skirt with dirty flip flop slippers to anywhere.
“When I complain, she will say who is looking at her forgetting that I am her husband, I am looking, I cannot control her.
“I cannot introduce her as my wife to my colleagues, she sells in Victoria Island, Kofo Abayomi and she meets notable people but she has refused to package herself.
“She wears jeans skirt to bed, claiming that she is tired anytime I touch her.
“She does not know how to take care of the house, her man and the kids,” he said.
Mrs Opeyemi Olanrewaju, the court Deputy President said that Lukman was behaving life a typical African man who “sees women as sex object that he could use and dump.
“You have been with other women and you are comparing her with them, before and after you married her, she gave you two kids there was nothing wrong with her.
“Now she is no longer good for you,” she said.
The court President, Mr Awos Awosola said that the husband should pay N220, 000, as the arrears of the money for the upkeep of the children on or before Dec. 20.
She ordered him not to visit the house again and that the children should be brought to the court whenever he wants to see them.
She urged both parties to maintain peace and adjourned the case to Dec. 28 for further hearing.

Kanye West Taken to Hospital After Cancelling Saint Pablo Tour
Kanye West was hospitalized on Monday after abruptly canceling the remainder of his Saint Pablo tour, a source confirmed to Variety.
The Los Angeles Police Department responded to a call of a “disturbance” at about 1:20 p.m. PST on Monday. Upon arrival, authorities discovered a “medical emergency,” and West was transferred to the hospital by paramedics.
The hospitalization comes after a tumultuous week for the rapper. Last Thursday, West made headlines by announcing at a San Jose concert that if he did vote in the election, he would have voted for President-elect Donald Trump. The statement was met largely with boos from the crowd.
Just a few days later, on Saturday, West arrived at his Sacramento concert 90 minutes late and performed only two songs before launching into a rant slamming Beyonce, Jay Z, Mark Zuckerberg, and others. The hashtag #KanyeIsOverParty began trending on Twitter shortly after videos of the rant hit social media.
On Sunday, he canceled his Los Angeles concert only hours before it was set to begin, and then axed the remaining 21 dates of his Saint Pablo tour early Monday. West did not provide a reason for the last-minute cancellations.

Aisha Buhari Visits Lt-Col. Ali’s Family
The wife of the President, Mrs Aisha Buhari, has commiserated with the families of late Lt.-Col. Mohammad Abu-Ali and six others who died in the battle field. Mrs Buhari offered her condolences to the families during the burial of the soldiers on Monday at the Military Cemetry in Abuja
The wife of the President, who was among top dignitaries that attended the burial, also interacted with the families of the slain soldiers. In an emotional lending mood, Mrs Buhari said that the late Lt. Col. Abu-Ali and his colleagues died as heroes and would forever remain in her mind and the minds of Nigerians.
Mrs Buhari commended the efforts of Lt.-Col. Abu-Ali and his colleagues for the successful return of some of the Chibok girls and other persons held in captivity by the insurgents. She prayed for the repose of the slain soldiers’ souls, saying that late Lt.-Col. Abu-Ali and his colleagues paid the supreme price.
The wife of the President, who was accompanied by the wife of the Senate President, Mrs Toyin Saraki, said that the soldiers laid their lives for peace and security in the North East. Also in her entourage were the wives of Borno, Kebbi and Kogi State governors, Mrs Nana Shettima, Mrs Zainab Bagudu and Mrs Rashidat Bello respectively, as well as wives of some ministers.
The families of the slain soldiers were later presented with the National Gorail for fallen heroes by the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The presentation was performed by the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, who represented the President at the burial ceremony.

US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is distantly related to French President Francois Hollande, according to a new book that claims they share royal blood from doomed kings of the 14th century.
Clinton, whose maiden name is Rodham, descends on her mother’s side from families from Canada’s French-speaking province of Quebec, according to French geneologist Jean-Louis Beaucarnot.
These immigrant families can be traced back to more than a dozen regions all over France, Beaucarnot writes in his book “Dico des Politiques” which was published last Thursday.
Most notably, back 23 generations, she counts as a relative king Louis X le Hutin, known as “Louis the Stubborn” in English.
Ominously, he died after only 18 months on the throne — officially from pneumonia, although some historians have suggested he might have been poisoned.
Hollande is distantly related to Louis’ successor and brother, Philip V, known as “Philip The Tall”, who lasted six years before dying without a male heir.
As well as sickly kings, Clinton also shares genes with entertainers Madonna and Celine Dion and actress Angelina Jolie, Beaucarnot writes.
Republican candidate Donald Trump traces the paternal side of his family back to Germany to the town of Kallstadt, whose other famous emigre is Henry Heinz, founder of the food giant that bears his name.
Trump’s grandfather Friedrich emigrated from there to the US in 1885 where he started working as a hairdresser in New York before being lured by the gold rush further west.
He went on to make a fortune opening restaurants and bars used by miners and workers that offered alcohol and allegedly opium and prostitutes.

New Oba of Benin unleashes first Punishment, Arrests Family for Breaking Tradition
For organizing the burial ceremony of their father, the family of Uhumwangho from Isi village in Uhunmwode local government area of Edo State has incurred the wrath of the new Oba of Benin, Oba Ewuare II.
Before the coronation ceremonies of the new Oba, the palace had placed a ban on burial activities in the Benin kingdom till further notice.
It was gathered at the weekend that all was set for the burial ceremonies at Iguodala Primary school in Benin City when chiefs from the Oba’s palace stormed the area and tied ‘Umehe’ leaves on the food, drinks, and canopies.
The ‘Umenhe’ leaves, Daily Trust learned, is a message of no trespass from the Oba.
Some of the family members were arrested and taken to the palace while the musician hired to provide entertainment was also dragged to the palace.
A palace source told Daily Trust reporter that the family was asked to buy some sacrificial items to cleanse the land.
It was also observed at the venue that food and drinks were on the table which the family members said nobody would touch because of the sacred leaves tied to them.
One of the arrested family members Josephine Ehimwenma said they were told by some chiefs at the palace to go on with the burial arrangements since the actual coronation had been done, but a member of the Iwebo Palace society, Chief Sunday Okhiokpamwonyi, said the family would pay some fine and postpone the burial.

Tony Ademiluyi: Rumble Within The First Family
In the northern part of Nigeria where polygamy is rife, women are supposed to be seen and not heard. Many of them are confined to the Purdah system which almost completely cuts them off from the outside world and restricts their contact to just their immediate families.
It was a surprise that Aisha Buhari played a prominent role in the campaign that brought President Muhammadu Buhari to power last year. She cut the 21st-century picture of a Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti in the way and manner she mobilized the womenfolk to cast their vote for her better half.
The rather conservative nature of Buhari made him do something different from his predecessors in not allowing the office of the First Lady to continue. Since the dark days of IBB, the office had been used as a conduit for all manner of white elephant projects that had no direct impact on the lives of the people. His campaign was anchored on the change mantra and this was the first casualty of his administration.
Unlike Patience Jonathan, Aisha took the backseat and not much has been heard about her. Besides her much-criticized beauty book launch and her spat with Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose, she has been more like a cipher in the current government.
It was a surprise when she granted an interview with the BBC Hausa Service lambasting her husband’s style of governance and openly wailing that a cabal had hijacked his government. She opined that he didn’t even know the majority of his appointees and that many people who didn’t share the vision of the APC were wielding a lot of power and influence and that if this trend continued, she won’t repeat what she did in 2015 with her women’s votes canvassing.
When I first heard about the interview, I thought it was some social media joke or the case of a voice impostor. One recalls that former Northern First Ladies like Late Maryam Babangida, Maryam Abacha, Turai Yar’adua never publicly upbraided their husbands. This was a departure from that established trend. In fact, this would be the first time in the country that a First Lady would openly criticize the administration of her spouse.
Buhari’s reaction that she belonged to the kitchen, his living room, and other room could be taken from divergent contexts. Metaphorically, he could have meant that her position in his government was not constitutionally backed and so her interview had no weight. There was no need to take her seriously. Literarily, it was a gargantuan gaffe as he threw the jab in the presence of Angela Merkel, the German Chancellor who is also a woman. They didn’t meet in the kitchen and the statement portrayed him as a misogynist. Don’t forget that his administration has been accused of not being too women friendly with the ratio of appointments that have been made so far. An article in the Washington Post has been making him look worse than Donald Trump. In a world where a high premium is being placed on women’s rights with the rise of feminism, the excellence of women in hitherto male-dominated fields and the current battle for complete equality of the sexes especially the current campaign for equal pay, Buhari’s ill-thought quip has made him shoot himself in the foot.
He must have been furious that his wife could ‘run her mouth’ as is said in Nigerian parlance in the media but he should have exercised more self-restraint and not make himself a laughing stock in the international community.
There must have been a lacuna in their communication which made her vent her frustration in the media. Personally, that wasn’t the best thing to do. Having being married to him for 27 years, there would have been a better way to draw his attention to the crisis plaguing the country. Some critics are contending that she may have resorted to the outburst since she has been sidelined but whatever her motives whether altruistic or self-serving, the way and manner she went about it was not the best. Every couple goes through their peculiar challenges and public opprobrium has never been the best way to tackle knotty issues. We recall that when Bill Clinton was on the slab in 1998 and was made mincemeat of by Kenneth Starr in the highly sensational trial which led to his impeachment by the House of Representatives for perjury before being mercifully saved by the Senate, Hillary stood like the Rock of Gibraltar behind him. There was a lot of pressure on her to institute divorce proceedings against him especially when the accusers kept swelling in number. Many feminists were urging her to do the needful by becoming the pioneer First Lady to divorce a sitting President but she kept her cool until the storm was over. Hillary never granted an interview to condemn Bill despite the fact that the different media houses would have been willing to break the bank to get such an exclusive from her. I don’t think she would have been a Presidential Candidate if she had succumbed to the cries of the feminists who may have left her in the lurch now. Which brand wants to be touch Monica Lewinsky with a ten-foot pole? Men should be mindful of history.
It’s no news that Nigeria is currently going through a crisis but we should be preoccupied with providing solutions rather than needlessly overheating the polity. Eleanor Roosevelt was a huge source of inspiration to Franklin Delano Roosevelt as she urged him not to quit politics when he was bogged down by polio at 39 which made him wear braces for the rest of his life. She played a behind the scenes role in ensuring that the New Deal program he championed was a resounding success. They would obviously have had their rows but there was a never a public show of it and it’s extremely counter-productive to do so. It would only provide ephemeral pleasure for the adversaries and then you would be left to stew in your own juice.
While Buhari was battling a three-year incarceration under the then IBB regime, his first wife, Safinatu allegedly collected huge sums of money from the self-styled Maradona. This led to their divorce in 1988 as the General couldn’t stomach the apparent betrayal. Will Aisha suffer the same fate as the General may equate this with a betrayal? The unfolding drama would be interesting to follow.

Goodie Ibru Not On The Run, Says Family
The family of Mr. Goodie Ibru yesterday described the recent public notice issued by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) declaring Goodie wanted over allegation of capital market fraud, money laundering and diversion of funds as scandalous, misleading and unfortunate.
It pointed out that Ibru is not on the run.
The Ibru family in a statement signed by Akpofure Ibru, described the EFCC’s appeal to members of the public to furnish them with information on Ibru’s whereabouts as an unfortunate expression that he is on the run.
The statement said the fact of the matter was at variance with the impression created by the EFCC.
“The truth of the matter is that the EFCC as at July 19, 2016, invited Ibru for an interview. On July 25. Ibru replied through the law firm of Babalakin & Co that he would not be able to honour the invitation until his planned return in the first week of November 2016 as he was in the United Kingdom undergoing medical treatment.
According to the statement, the law firm in the said response, had stressed that as their client “is a law abiding citizen who has no interest in foiling the administration of justice, we assure you that he will appear before your commission as soon as he recovered from his illness and return to Nigeria.”
The statement said as there was no further word from the EFCC, the understanding was that the promise to keep the November date had been accepted by the commission.
“It is therefore scandalous to read the EFCC notice of October 12, purporting that Mr. Ibru was on the run,” it added.
Furthermore, it decried what it regarded as “creeping bias” into an investigation that in the main “centres on family misunderstanding and boardroom politics.”

The relatives of football star Gareth Bale’s fiancée Emma Rhys Jones are set to change their names and are currently in a police ‘safe house’ after they were targeted by drug gangs who allegedly burnt their cars and houses as they searched for missing suitcase containing £1million worth of cash and drugs.
Emma Rhys Jones, 27, was horrified when one of her cousins- Epihany Dring went missing before two cars belonging to Emma’s aunt Annabella Williams, 55, were burnt last month.
Emma’s grandparents’ home in Cardiff was also set on fire in the attack and the footballer Gareth Bale in order to ensure their safety, has moved them into police safe houses and is working on plans to change their identities
Epiphany Dring, Emma’s cosuin hasn’t still been seen for six weeks now.
After Emma’s aunt Annabella Williams home in Flint, North Wales, was burnt on September 20, her son launched a revenge attack against Epiphany’s mum the same morning claiming they were responsible for the attacks. He was arrested and is now set to be sentenced to court.
Annabella Williams son’s defence said:
“The police are now helping the Williams family and the indication is they will be moved out of the area, possibly changing their names.”
Police are trying to trace Epiphany, who they believe has flown to Malaysia..

35-Year Old Dies A Month To Wedding As Family Blames Fiance
A 35-year-old woman, Loretta Ewere, has been electrocuted at her fiance’s home on Ajoke Kazeem Street in the Idimu area of Lagos State.
Punch Metro learnt that Ewere’s fiancé, Segun Tolani, was fixing an electrical fault when the incident happened.
She was said to have been rushed to a private hospital in the area but was rejected before being confirmed dead at the Igando General Hospital.
A Punch correspondent, who visited the area on Tuesday, gathered that Ewere and Tolani had
scheduled their wedding for November and preparation was in top gear when tragedy struck.
A resident, who did not want to be identified, said the incident happened around 1pm on Saturday, adding that it created chaos in the neighbourhood.
He said, “The man had wanted to change his old cable TV decoder and antenna. When power was restored, he discovered that he didn’t have electricity in his house.
“He wanted to do it himself, but neighbours advised him to get the service of an electrician. He contacted an electrician who billed him N2,500. But he said the charge was too high. He decided to go and rent a wooden ladder from someone in the area.
“He mounted the ladder on the wall and called the lady from inside the room to assist him in holding the ladder. She held the ladder with one hand and held an iron pole beside the room with the other hand.
“While he was working, the wire fell and touched the pole she was holding and that was how she was electrocuted.”
Punch Metro learnt that Tolani called for help from a next-door neighbour, whose wife reportedly rushed to the scene to pull out the victim with her bare hands.
She was reportedly flung by the electric current.
An electrician was said to have been invited, who then disconnected the power.
“The woman fell down and hit her head against the concrete floor. People tried to resuscitate her by giving her milk; but she didn’t come round. A lot of time had been wasted. She was rushed to a private hospital in the area, but she was rejected.
“We took her to the general hospital, where she was confirmed dead. Her corpse was deposited in a mortuary,” another resident said.
Punch Metro gathered that Ewere, an indigene of Ewuru, Delta State, worked in Union Diagnostics, a medical lab in Ikeja, while Tolani, who hails from Ekiti State, worked with an insurance company.
When our correspondent visited the victim’s family house on Ogidan Street, Idimu, they said the family was too distraught to talk about the incident.
However, a relative, who identified himself simply as Charles, blamed the incident on Tolani’s stinginess.
He explained that the duo had been living together for the past four years, adding that the two families had started preparation for their wedding.
He said, “They did their introduction four years ago and since then, they had been staying together. Their marriage was slated for November and the two families have bought clothes and sent invitation to people.
“Around 1pm of the day that she died, she called one of her friends that she would be going to shop for the wedding, not knowing that she would die that day.
“It was the man’s stinginess that killed her. If he had paid someone to fix the electrical fault, this would not have happened.”
Meanwhile, friends of the victim have started paying tributes to her on the social media.
One of them, Kehinde, wrote on Facebook, “Loretta (Ewere), a member of the Purchasing and Supply Students Association, The Polytechnic Ibadan, was kind-hearted, brilliant and reserved. The industrious lady was preparing for her last two exams (slated for October 4 and 6) left for her to become a graduate when she died. We love you, but God loves you most. I pray He accepts your soul and comforts your household.”
The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos, confirmed the incident.
She said the corpse had been deposited in a mortuary for autopsy.
She said, “The woman, Loretta Ewere, was electrocuted around 9am. She was living with one Segun Tolani, to whom she was supposed to be married next month. They were fixing a GoTV antenna when power was suddenly restored. Ewere, who was holding the antenna wire, was electrocuted. The corpse has been deposited in a mortuary for a post-mortem examination.”

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie signed an ‘ironclad’ prenup before tying the knot in 2014. Its details have just been revealed as well as the fact that the real battle between Brad and Angelina will be over the custody of their children.
According to TMZ, Brad and Jolie signed a prenuptial agreement that outlines exactly who gets what before they wed back in 2014.
Their combined fortune is a reported $400 million. Brad & Jolie have 12 total properties together all of which they acquired either before they were married or before they were even dating.
7 of those properties belong to Brad, 2 to Angie and 3 which they bought together prior to tying the
knot in 2014.
The properties they bought together include a vineyard in France, a mansion in New Orleans, and an apartment in New York – and the pair’s prenup outlines exactly who gets what property.

Sources familiar with the situation tell us, Brad, Angelina and their kids were on a flight last Wednesday when he allegedly got wasted on the private jet. He allegedly went wild, screaming and getting physical with the kids.
We’re told the plane landed at an airport around 8 PM, and witnesses say Pitt continued his rant on the tarmac, and even tried leaving in one of the fuel trucks.
Our sources say someone either on the plane or the tarmac anonymously reported the incident to the L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services. We’re told Brad and Angelina have already been interviewed and DCFS plans to interview the kids as well. That investigation is ongoing.
We’re also told the LAPD has the case … which is routine when anyone reports child abuse. We do not know the specifics of the alleged abuse … just that it was supposedly both verbal and physical.
Our sources say this incident triggered Jolie to separate from Brad the next day and file for divorce just days later.
A source close to Brad tells TMZ, “He takes the matter very seriously and says he did not commit any abuse of his children,” adding, “It’s unfortunate that people involved are continuing to present him

Laura Whitfield, who is just 4ft 2, proposed to 3ft 11 Nathan Phillips a month before the birth of their son – the only ‘double dwarf’ in Britain.
Nathan Junior was born with two different forms of dwarfism, anachondaplasia like his mum and pseudochondaplasia like his dad, and was not expected to survive more than a few hours.

Lady Battered By Aunt’s Husband Wants Justice
A woman, Latifat Adeyemi, who was allegedly battered by her uncle-in-law, Rasak Alabi, at Aga, Ikorodu, has cried out for justice.
Last Friday Alabi allegedly hit the victim with a spanner on her head and face. The picture of the injured woman went viral on social media after a family friend Francis Ibirinde shared it on his Facebook wall.
In a telephone interview with a Nation Correspondent, Adeyemi said her aunt’s husband attacked her at their 3, Ile-Ewe, Sholebo family residence at Aga, Ikorodu.
The makeup artist explained that trouble started after she got home on Friday night and discovered
that the Air Conditioner in her room has been removed.
“I was surprised and angry that the AC in my room at our family house was removed by my aunt’s husband. His wife stays abroad. The house belongs to my grandparents but because his wife renovated it, he has been staying there ever since they resolved their marital problems.
“So, that day I got back from work and realised that my AC has been removed. I was angry. I picked my phone and called my sister, telling her that I have had it. That I don’t think I can continue staying in the house. I was still outside talking to my sister on phone, when the man from nowhere, hit me with spanner from behind.
“He said I was making noise. That was how he continued hitting me with the iron. I was bleeding but he didn’t care. When he was satisfied, he went inside.
“I had to call my parents and uncles before going to Ebute Police Sation to make an entry. At the station, the policemen asked me to go to the hospital and treat myself first that I was bleeding seriously. But I didn’t go straight to the hospital. I went back to the house to provoke the man so that he can come out but he did not. Then, I left for the hospital,” she said.
Continuing, Adeyemi said policemen later went there to invite him for questioning but he refused to answer them. Rather, she said, the man went to Igbogbo police station to make another entry and took some men to her uncle’s house to arrest him.
“He took vigilante members (Onyabo) to my uncle’s place because my uncle was against him. But when the vigilante boys took my uncle away, some people who knew him quickly contacted their boss and told him what happened. My uncle was released. But he went and got policemen from another station to arrest him, despite that our case was already at Ebute police station. My uncle was arrested and detained at the station till the following morning when other family members came.
“I was on admission at the hospital and they had a family meeting and he said it was temptation. My bill was over N70,000. I was told he came to the hospital and paid the bills but he never bothered to check on me to see what he caused. Even the doctors told him to visit me and apologise but he refused. They said he paid the bill and left.
“His wife too has not bothered to call me to find out what happened. I really cannot say if there was any problem between us. I don’t know. But the action was very surprising and I don’t think I want him to go free after what he did to me.”
The victim who was at the Public Advice Centre (PAC), Ministry of Justice, Alausa on Friday, said she was determined to get justice for the unprovoked attack on her.
She said: “The man has refused me access to get my things. My clothes and other belongings are still inside the house. For three days after the assault, I wore the same dress. I want justice. The police have not been able to arrest him, I don’t know why. So, I have gone to the Ministry of Justice so that the government can look into the matter.”

Schoolboy Dies After Taking Sweet, When Sweet Company Failed To Say Sweet Was Made Of Peanut
A schoolboy with a severe peanut allergy died after eating a sweet made from the nuts at a religious festival. An inquest into the tragic death of Aaron O’Farrell at Chesterfield Coroner’s Court heard there were no warnings on the packaging that the sweet was made entirely from peanuts.
The youngster had been at a Hindu religious festival in Birmingham, held 20 days before Diwali, the festival of lights. The sweets were given out by organisers as worshippers left the event.
The 11-year-old was at home with his parents James and Jayne just before lunchtime when he ate a
small piece of the sweet.
Within moments he started feeling sick and was given a soft drink, but soon began having difficulty
breathing.
His brother gave him a shot from his epipen and he was still conscious when paramedics arrived, but then went into cardiac arrest.
By the time the ambulance had raced the seven miles from his semi-detached home in Doe Lea, Derbys, to Chesterfield Royal Hospital his heart had stopped beating.
Medics battled to save the “kind and courageous” youngster, but he was pronounced dead later in hospital.
Chesterfield Coroners Court heard Aaron had been diagnosed with a peanut allergy when he was five after he had suffered skin rashes and a wheezy chest after being in the same room as peanuts.
A post mortem after the fatal incident on Sunday 28, September, 2014, showed an “abundance of mucus” and blood in his airways which was consistent with a severe allergic reaction.
Tests showed increase levels of the enzyme tryptase which confirmed Aaron had suffered anaphylaxis.
Aaron had started secondary school the day before he died.
Doctor Exposes Woman Who Faked Pregnancy For 9 Months In Ilorin
The Chief Medical Director (CMD) of Yusjib Industrial Medicare, Ilorin, Dr Yusuf Abdulraheem, says he has discovered a young lady that has been faking pregnancy for close to nine months. Abdulraheem told newsmen on Tuesday in Ilorin that he discovered that the lady used clothing as a disguise for the pregnancy by stuffing them under her normal clothes to make her appear pregnant.
According to the doctor, he made the discovery while trying to examine the lady who is in her early twenties. He said that the lady identified herself as Azeezat Abubakar.
The CMD said that the lady who was brought to the hospital for delivery, identified herself as
Azeezat Abubakar. He added that he became suspicious when she refused to be examined.
“She has been using my hospital name to claim money at home, telling her family she is doing her ante-natal in Yusjib. When her family brought her, I noticed that i had never seen her face before, but for the benefit of doubt, I told her to remove her folder which she could not locate.
“In the absence of one, I opened a new folder for her; I requested she come to the couch for examination only for her to be squatting. “It was her mother-in-law who forced her to the couch and as I tried to examine her tommy, I discovered it was clothes she padded there’’, Abdulraheem said.
The doctor condemned the incident and urged mothers to monitor their young girls closely. He also wondered why the mother-in-law did not discover the fake pregnancy for close to nine months.

Guy Ritchie and Madonna have settled their bitter custody battle over where their son Rocco should live. Olorogun Michael Ibru, chairman of the Ibru Organization and husband of Cecilia Ibru, the former CEO of the now defunct Oceanic Bank is dead. He died at the age of 86 in the early hours of Tuesday.

There were fears Neysi Perez ,16 – who was pregnant when she died – had been buried alive and had woken up in the coffin.
The tomb was broken open and the coffin removed as panic ensued in the town of La Entrada, in
western Honduras.
She was buried after apparently suffering a heart attack scare after becoming caught up in the middle of a firefight.
She was examined by doctors who confirmed her death, and her family decided to bury her.
But the her horrified boyfriend reportedly heard some noises coming from inside the crypt when he visited the cemetery the next day.
The boyfriend called a guard over to listen to the sounds too, and he confirmed he also heard them.
The family arranged for the tomb to be opened, which took several hours. And it was late.
Doctors say the girl was dead and buried noises could have been figment of the groom. However the broken glass is something that nobody could explain, like one of his injured fingers.

Father Of Toddler Who Received Heart Transplant Shot His Family & Himself
In a tragic, heartbreaking story, a Pennsylvania man bought a gun one day after police responded to a domestic dispute at his home and used it less than three weeks later to kill his wife, his three children, and then himself, authorities said.
Megan Short, 33, told police she was afraid of her husband when they came to her home July 18, investigators revealed Monday, and was in the process of moving out but never made it to her new home.
Police found the bodies of Mark Short, 40, his wife, and three children, 8-year-old Lianna, 5-year-old Mark Jr., and 2-year-old Willow on Aug. 6, the same day Megan Short and her children were supposed to move to their new house, in the family’s living room in Sinking Spring, about 50 miles northwest of Philadelphia. Mark Short was allegedly supposed to rent a moving van to help with the move.
The three children — whom Mark Short had taken to an amusement park just a day earlier for an employer-sponsored family day — were still in their pajamas. The family dog was also killed.
Police discovered them after breaking into the Sinking Springs home to check on the family after Megan Short’s mother reported that her daughter had failed to show for a lunch date. Relatives were left awaiting Megan Short’s arrival at her new home.
Investigators found a handwritten murder-suicide note on the dining room table and a handgun near Mark Short, and an autopsy concluded Short’s gunshot wound was self-inflicted. Short appeared to have written the letter after he killed his family, acknowledging having bought the gun and using it to commit the murders, authorities said. But they declined to provide further details of what was in the letter.
District Attorney John Adams said the investigation also turned up a report of a domestic dispute at a Philadelphia hotel where the couple was staying June 4. He said only hotel security had been involved in that case.
Police who responded to the Short home a month later informed Megan Short how to seek a protection from abuse order, but the investigation found she never sought such an order, though she had said she intended to file the next day. Officers found the children home during the incident, but Mark Short had left the area before police arrived.
“I don’t know that we know specifically as to why this relationship had disintegrated. We don’t have any answers to that,” Adams said. “Suffice it to say based upon our investigation … we can tell you he was going through a breakup of a marriage and he was emotional about that, but that’s all we can tell you.”
Mark Short, a loan officer, had also been demoted at his job at the start of August, Adams said.
Megan Short had alleged in a Facebook post that she had been abused, a neighbor also said.
Adams said, had Megan Short expressed a need to relocate with her children, Berks Women In Crisis, a crisis intervention and victim support group, could have provided them shelter. Police had done all they were legally allowed to do, he said.
“I don’t know that anything can be learned other than when leaving an abusive relationship, it’s often a very dangerous time for a victim. So, we urge anyone who’s in a similar situation to develop a safety plan and contact their local domestic violence agency for assistance,” Adams said.
The Shorts had been featured in news stories about their difficulties getting medication for Willow, who had a heart transplant. The family made headlines in 2014 and were featured in the New York Times in 2015, shortly after 1-year-old Willow received a new heart. Megan Short previously wrote that anxiety related to her daughter’s condition had left her with post-traumatic stress disorder and “survivor’s guilt” when children with similar problems from other families died.
Hundreds attended a funeral Mass for the family Friday. Mark Short was mentioned only in passing during the service.

It’s okay to patronise a business owned by a family member or friend. When it comes to a wedding a lot of them give you their services at little or no cost which is a good thing. What you should have in mind is “can someone who is emotionally invested in your wedding judge professionally”?
Sometimes it doesn’t work out the way you want it then you become restrained from expressing your thoughts. I once planned a party for a client who said her cousin was going to handle finger foods. So I got talking with her on the phone and she seemed nice. I scheduled for a meeting for all my vendors but she couldn’t make it and didn’t even send representative but I still called and updated her.
On the day of then event she was the last vendor to set up, came an hour after the event had started, most of guests had started eating and didn’t want finger food anymore. My client didn’t say a word to her but I could tell she regretted using her for that event. Some of us find it hard expressing our dissatisfaction from a vendor we don’t really know ,talkless of a family member or friend.
If you must use them, make it clear exactly what you want and how you want, put aside the fact that you know them personally and be very outspoken about the results you expect. That way if anything happens they won’t start sulking and you won’t feel guilty .

Dead Man Gets Two Obituaries Side by Side from Both His Wife and Girlfriend in the Same Newspaper
Leroy Bill Black, a 55-year-old New Jersey man died on Tuesday.
But due to dueling obituaries for him — one apparently submitted by his wife, the other apparently by his girlfriend — the whole thing has got people talking.
Both obituaries were published in The Press of Atlantic City, one on top of the other, and both included the same photo of the deceased, who lived in Egg Harbor Township.
The first obituary identifies the man as Leroy Bill Black and says he was survived by “his loving wife, Bearetta Harrison Black and his son, Jazz Black.” It says Black died at home on Aug. 2 surrounded by his family. No cause of death is given.
The second obituary identifies him as Leroy “Blast” Black and also says Black died at home — but makes no mention of any family being there. It says in addition to his son, Jazz, Black is survived by his siblings, other family, friends, and his “longtime girlfriend, Princess Hall.”
That obituary also says he was a fiberglass technician who died of lung cancer due to fiberglass exposure.
According to NBC News, neither the wife nor the girlfriend could be reached.
A viewing is set for Saturday afternoon and Black’s funeral is scheduled for Sunday at Greenidge Funeral Homes in Atlantic City. A staff member at Greenidge who did not identify herself told NBC News that she had received a phone call from a mourner “asking if there’s going to be a problem between the wife and the girlfriend” at the funeral.
Joseph Greenidge Jr., the funeral director at Greenidge Funeral Homes, told KYW Newsradio in Philadelphia it isn’t unheard of for there to be multiple obituaries written from different perspectives. But, he said, they took direction from Leroy’s wife regarding the funeral arrangements.
“We follow the state law, which is that there is one point of contact. And in this case, as in any case, it would be the spouse, and so we followed the direction of the spouse,” he told the station.

BIZARRE: Family Feeds Dog With Day-old Baby
The Kastina State Police Command is holding a family of five in its custody for allegedly feeding a day-old baby boy to a dog as meal.
The incident happened at Saika village in Batsari Local Government Area.
The suspects include 15-year-old Wosila Halilu, her three stepbrothers and her mother.
It was alleged that Wosila, who is the mother of the baby, got pregnant after she was raped by a 27 year-old farmer, Musa Garba. She alleged that the farmer lured her into his farm where he committed the act.
Police sources said the family viewed the pregnancy and subsequent delivery of the baby as shameful, since she was not married.
They, therefore, held a meeting where it was alleged that Wosila’s mother and her step brothers decided that the baby should be fed to a dog.
The village head of Saika, known as Dakacin Seika, reported the incident to the police, leading to the arrest of the family and the farmer.
Garba is in police custody for alleged rape.
The culprits were brought before a Kastina Magistrate Court on three count of culpable homicide, criminal conspiracy and rape. The prosecution said the offences were in contravention of sections 235, 387 and 85 of the Penal code.
Magistrate Nura Ladan ordered further investigation into the incident. He directed that the suspects be remanded in police custody until the case comes up for further hearing on August 8, 2016.

Family Announces Burial Plans For Killed Kubwa Preacher
Eunice Elisha, the Abuja preacher who was murdered over a week ago while conducting morning preaching, will be buried on July 23, her family has said.
Mrs. Elisha, 42, was murdered in the early hours of Saturday, July 9, in Kubwa, a suburb of Abuja.
Her sister, Bola Fatuashi, said the burial activities will start with a wake keeping at 5:pm on Friday, July 22, at the New Life Assembly Parish, Redeemed Christian Church of God, Kubwa.
She said lying-in-state will begin at 8: am on Saturday also in Kubwa.
Mrs. Elisha is survived by her aged parents, six siblings, her husband and seven children.
Mrs. Fatuashi had said that due to their aged father’s state of health, they could not relay the news to him.
“We have not told my father, but my mother already knows. My mother is stronger than my aged father. We will all meet at the village, after every thing, then find a way to relay the news to him, in such manner as to prevent another tragedy,” she had said.
The police say they have arrested six suspects in connection to the murder.

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, today, paid a condolence visit to the family of Mrs. Eunice Olawale, who was murdered while preaching in Kubwa, a satellite town in Abuja.
“Adeboye and his entourage visited the family at their Gbazango Estate, Kubwa residence around 6am. Pastor Adebayo Tiamiyu, a family friend to the Olawales confirmed the visit.” A report stated.
The wife of the vice president Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo, also a pastor of the RCCG, had also paid a condolence visit to the deceased’s husband and children at the weekend.

Osinbajo’s Wife Visits Murdered Preacher’s Family
The Wife of the Vice President, Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo on Sunday visited the family of the late Assistant Pastor of the Divine Touch Parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Abuja, Mrs Eunice Elisha.
The forty-two-year-old mother of seven was murdered while evangelising on Saturday morning.
She was said to have been butchered to death by assailants while preaching around Gbazango-West area of Kubwa in the Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Mrs Osinbajo, who visited the bereaved family around 1:30 pm., was received by the deceased’s husband, Pastor Olawale Elisha; children and a host of church members and loved ones.
In her condolence message, Mrs Osinbajo wrote: “May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace.”

The request was made on Sunday by the head of the family, Alhaji Muritala Abiola, at the commemoration of the June 12, 1993 election.
The event, which was organised by the state government, started with a Democracy Walk from the June 12 Cultural Centre, Kuto, Abeokuta to the Oke Ido ancestral home of the Abiolas.
Muritala, who is the younger brother of the late business mogul, said he deserved the entitlement for dying for the enthronement of democracy in the country.
“First, we want the Federal Government to declare June 12 as Democracy Day. It should do even more than that.
” Ken Saro Wiwa died fighting over Ogoni oil spillage, the Federal Government is doing the cleaning up of the oil spillage in Ogoni land.
“MKO was killed because of an election he won maybe it is you journalists or the Nigerian government calling him acclaimed winner.
“ He is not acclaimed winner, they should confirm him as slain president of Nigeria.
“ MKO should be declared president. Although slain, all the entitlements belong to the family,” he said.
Murtala, however, thanked the state government for keeping the memory of the late Abiola alive by staging a Democracy Walk in the last five years.
He appealed to the state government to return the school established by the late Abiola– Salawu Abiola Comprehensive High School, Osiele, Abeokuta —to the family to administer.
Gov. Ibikunle Amosun, in his speech, said that everyone knew that late MKO Abiola was the adjudged winner of the June 12, 1993 presidential election.
Amosun, who was represented by the deputy governor, Mrs Yetunde Onanuga, described him as the hero of the nation’s current democracy.
“ We have been organising the Democracy Walk and identifying with the Abiola family for the past five years that this administration has been in government.
“He was a philanthropist and the hero of our current democracy,” he added.

Abandoned Cat Refuses To Leave Spot Where It Was Dumped By Owners A Year Ago
A cat has reportedly refused to leave the spot it was dumped by it’s owners for a year now.
The cat is believed to have been left there when its owners moved out of their nearby apartment, leaving it behind. It was pictured by Ostap Zadunayskiy who put the picture on Russia’s version of Facebook, VKontakte.
He asked people what the cat’s story was, and he was surprised when locals said the cat hasn’t left that particular spot for a year since it was dumped by it’s owners. He was told that the cat was seen running after the owners as they drove off.

Governor Ambode Pays Condolence Visit To Braithwaite’s Family
Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode on Wednesday paid a condolence visit to the family of late elder statesman and legal luminary, Dr. Tunji Braithwaite, saying that his contributions to the emancipation of the masses and constitutional development in Nigeria would remain indelible.
Governor Ambode, who visited the family House of the late sage in Victoria Island area of the state in company with some members of the State Executive Council including the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tunji Bello; Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr. Samuel Olukunle Ojo, and others, said Dr. Braithwaite consistently fought for the masses throughout his life time, and so deserved to be celebrated for a life well spent.
The Governor, while commiserating with Braithwaite’s widow, Grace and the children, said their father paid his dues, assuring that the State Government will continue to celebrate the ideals he stood for during his lifetime.
“No matter the side he was on, the political divide, his message was consistent, constant and he was always thoroughbred and that is why I have come here not only to console the family but to say that everything that I’m also doing is on the side of the masses and is on the side of the majority which he also believed in, which he confessed, which he stood for notwithstanding whatever trepidations or challenges on his way,” Governor Ambode said.

79-Year Old Mother-In-Law, Sisters-In-Law Beat Up House Wife Till She Lost Her Left Eye
A 52-year-old housewife, Olasunkanmi Lawal, has lost the use of one of her eyes after a scuffle with her mother-in-law, Aduke Awakan.
The mother of two was also said to have been attacked by her sisters-in-law, Bose Showole (39) and Oduntan Enitan (24), at their family house on Isale-Agbede Street, on the Lagos Island area of Lagos State.
Punch Metro learnt that the case was reported at the Adeniji Adele Police Station, leading to the arrest of the suspects.
The victim explained that she was attacked because she stopped giving money to the septuagenarian.
She said, “My husband and I live in the family house and we have been there since 1989. We have two children.
“However, my mother-in-law started keeping malice with me after I stopped giving her money. I lost my jewellery business due to the demolition of my shop in 2014 and because of that; I could no longer support her.
“On Saturday, January 16, around 4pm, I returned from work and I met her at home. When I greeted her, she shunned me. I was surprised because I never had any disagreement with her.
“Before I knew it, one of her children, Bose (Showole), punched me in the left eye. I fought back. Her grandchild, Enitan, used stone to hit me in the same eye, while the woman herself hit me with a chair. Blood started coming out from the eye.”
She said she reported the assault at the Adeniji Adele Police Station and from there, she was referred to the Lagos Island General Hospital, where the doctors told her she had lost the use of her left eye.
A medical report from the hospital, signed by one J.O. Owuye, said the victim was diagnosed with, “left periorbital swelling, abrusion at anterior chest wall.”
It was learnt that the police arrested the 79-year-old, but later released her on bail after the two other suspects, Showole and Enitan, were produced by the family.
Lawal, however, accused the Investigating Police Officer, Ajekigbe Sarah, of siding with the suspects against her.
She alleged that the IPO deliberately prevented her from completing her statement at the station.
“She stopped me midway and said I should go to the hospital for treatment.
“But when I returned to finish writing the statement, she said it was no longer necessary. Even the DPO queried her for the action,” she added.
Her father, Alhaji Ahmed Oshodi, called for justice.
But the septuagenarian suspect, Awakan, denied the allegations.
In her statement to the police she said, “It was about 4pm. I was at home when Alhaja (Lawal) came in and greeted me and I told her not to greet me again.
“Alhaja is the wife of my son. I asked her not to greet me because the previous day, she abused me indirectly and I decided not to reply her greetings again.
“So, when she came in and greeted me, I shunned her, but one of my daughters intervened.”
She said Lawal and her daughter had an argument which degenerated into a fight.
“I don’t know how she got injured in the eye,” she added.
Showole, in her defence, said she intervened because Lawal, who was her brother’s wife, was “abusing my mother and pointing a finger at her”.
“I pushed her hand and she slapped me on the face.
“Then we started fighting. She held my clothes and I did the same. I don’t know what happened to her eye,” she said.
Enitan denied involvement in the fight.
She said the fight was between Lawal and Showole.
The police, however, arraigned the trio before a Tinubu Magistrate’s Court on three counts of assault occasioning harm.
The charges read in part, “That you, Aduke Awakan, Bose Shobowale and Oduntan Eniola, on January 16, 2016, did unlawfully assault one Olasunkanmi Lawal, by giving her fist blows and injuring her with a crate of eggs and stone that led to injury in her left eye.”
The police prosecutor, I. Okeke, said the offence was punishable under sections 409, 171 and 170 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, Nigeria, 2011.
The defendants pleaded not guilty to the charges and elected summary trial.
The Magistrate, Mr. A.A. Adefulire, admitted them to bail in the sum of N20,000 with two sureties in like sum. The case was adjourned till March 24, 2016.
Family Suspects Foul Play In Ocholi, Wife, Son’s Death
The Federal Government has promised to investigate how the driver of the Sport Utility Vehicle, in which the Minister of State for Labour, Mr. James Ocholi (SAN); his wife, Blessing; and son, Joshua, died along the Kaduna-Abuja Expressway on Sunday, was employed.
The Minister of Labour, Dr. Chris Ngige, stated this on Monday while responding to the call by the relatives of the deceased, including Ocholi’s uncle, Abdallah Aliu; another relative, Paul Audu; and the immediate younger sister to the late Blessing, who did not want her name mentioned, that the driver be investigated.
“The acting Permanent Secretary is here, she is the one in charge of human resources. We will find out and investigate it. We will do, but I can tell you that our personal drivers are known to us and we both keep our personal drivers. We will find out and investigate this,” Ngige said.
The Ocholi family is working on some theories concerning the accident.
The family members believed that the driver of a car that somersaulted several times would ordinarily be unconscious and would not take photographs of the deceased and upload them on social media.
They also contended that the driver and the orderly should have cordoned off the place and evacuated the corpses as this had been the tradition whenever a VIP was involved in an accident.
Aliu said, “Distinguished Senator Ngige, I know you very well. When James Ocholi was told to work with you, I knew he was in good hands because the last time I saw you was in Anambra State. We ate with you in your house as a governor.
“This man that just died is not a lone person. We leave this responsibility in your care. Whoever recruited the driver and posted (redeploy) him should be investigated. It can happen to anybody, it can happen to any minister. It can happen because it has happened.
“So, we want to know who recruited the driver, and at what speed (he was during the trip) to the extent that the corpse of the deceased cannot even be recognised. Can you imagine that? I am worried, it is worrisome.”
He also shed light on his allegations later during a telephone interview.
Aliu added, “There was a kind of foul play in the whole exercise, which is very worrisome. Apparently, the driver who drove the car was the same person who took the photo of the dead man and sent it all over the Internet – whatsApp and others. So, the question is: how come that the driver of the vehicle in the same car was able to take the picture of the dead man?
“The side of the door, where the Honourable Minister sat, was not properly locked because after the car somersaulted, the thing flung him and so he had a terrible and fatal damage that his body was beyond recognition. There was a foul play in Ocholi’s death.
“While I was in his house, I already knew because those who conspired and plotted it (the death) became jittery because I have never been to that house and they don’t know me. But somehow, they became jittery, scared and worried.
“This thing they did is political, it is a political war and some people want to score some political points against the system somehow. The death of Ocholi is quite suspicious.
“So, I had to hurriedly leave because God has made me to know what happened and we know that they will get the people who are responsible. When you are innocent, God will always uncover how certain things happened. Ocholi’s death is a great loss to the common people of Nigeria. And the spirit of the common people of Nigeria is fighting back.
“The perpetrators want to derail the focus of this administration. They are looking for every way to put a wedge in the wheel of success. I can specifically pinpoint those who plotted these things. What they are trying to do now is to knock heads together and the earlier we get rid of them out of that place, the better.
“As we were there, they were trying to get the contacts of the ministers that came there for condolence, making phone calls and reporting back to whoever is their manipulator.
“They decided to get rid of Ocholi to derail the focus of the government. Ocholi was not smart enough to know that these things could happen. They have lost, failed and we will ask God to forgive them because they have taken a soul that they cannot create.”
The Federal Executive Council will on Wednesday hold a special session to pay tribute to the late Ocholi.

Government officials at the federal and state levels today visited the home of the late Minister of State for Labour, James Ocholi, to commiserate with his family.
Ocholi, his wife, and one of his sons had lost their lives on Sunday in a car crash along the Abuja-Kaduna Expressway, shocking the nation.
Among those who visited his home today were the Wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, Aisha; the Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, and the Inspector-General of Police, Solomon Arase.
The officials, who paid tribute to the late Ocholi, all signed the condolence register before leaving.
The Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola; the Minister of Sports, Solomon Dalung, were among those who visited the home.

Sokoto Girl Abduction: Family, Friends To Meet Police, Governor’s Aide Today
The family and friends of Patience Paul, a 15-year old girl who was allegedly abducted and forced into a marriage in Sokoto, will meet with the police this morning.
Isaac Paul, the girl’s brother, said over the phone that they would also meet with Imam Imam, Governor Aminu Tambuwal’s spokesperson.
“The meeting is holding by 10 a.m. at the police headquarters in Sokoto,” Mr. Paul, 28, said.
The Sokoto State government on Thursday launched an ?investigation into the alleged abduction and forced marriage of Miss Paul.
Mr. Imam said on Thursday that the government had been unable to contact the victim’s family to shed more light on the allegation.
“In the interim, the Human Rights Commission was asked to present an interim report and update the public with all information as it becomes available,” Mr. Imam said.

Woman’s Body Exhumed On Claims Her Husband Had Not Fully Paid Her Dowry In Kenya
The body of a 28 year old Kenyan woman, Alice Kemunto Bundi was exhumed from her grave on January 27th, just a day after she was buried at her matrimonial home in Nyamatoki village, after her family complained that her husband had not completely paid her bride price and had no right to claim her corpse.
The family of the mother of four who was four months pregnant when she died, went to court and obtained an exhumation permit from the Kisii law court. Her family members also argued that they were not informed by the husband on what killed their sister nor were they carried along during her funeral arrangements.
The husband however provided a clinical report which states that his wife of six years died while trying to undergo an abortion.
Her in-laws confirmed that the dowry for late Alice had not been settled. “We had given them [Bundi’s family] one cow and KES 5 000 cash($48), though they were asking for KES 20 000($196),” said one of the in-laws in an interviewed.

White Zimbabwean family driven off their land to make way for black doctor
A family of white Zimbabwean farmers have been evicted from their land after it was handed over to a British doctor who runs a weightloss clinic in Nottingham.
The Rankin family, who have farmed tobacco in Zimbabwe for decades, were handcuffed by police and dragged off their land so it could be claimed by Sylvester Nyatsuro..Mailonline reports.
Dr Nyatsuro, 45, is originally from the African country but has lived in Britain for at least 15 years,
and is now in charge of his own GP practice.
He and his wife Veronica were allocated the Rankins’ farm under Robert Mugabe’s controversial land seizure laws which allow the state to take the property of white people and hand it over to ‘indigenous’ black Africans.
Dr Nyatsuro, who is linked to the Mugabes, apparently turned up at Kingston Deverill in September with a government document saying that he was now the rightful owner of the land.
The Rankins refused to leave without being compensated for their property, having recently planted a £300,000 tobacco crop, but two dozen settlers moved into an empty cottage nearby and a warrant was issued for Phillip’s arrest.
In the early hours of Friday morning, 20 police officers dug under the fence surrounding the family’s home and knocked on the door before carting away most of their belongings.
They then handcuffed Mr Rankin and took him to a police station before later releasing him to stay with relatives.
His son Barry, speaking from his new home in the capital Harare, today described how the family thought they had ‘survived’ after they held onto their land in the initial wave of confiscations by the Mugabe regime.
The 33-year-old father of three hit out against the eviction, saying it ‘doesn’t make sense’ that a wealthy professional who lives in the West should be given property by the government.
‘As a family we are absolutely gutted,’ Mr Rankin told MailOnline. ‘We have been turfed off of our land and there’s nothing we can do about it. We are devastated.
‘It was our business – but more important than that, it was our home. We have never owned anything other than the farm and that’s gone in one weekend.My parents have been working on the farm for 35 years. I grew up there. Those years have not all been hunky dory, we have had our ups and downs like any family, but we thought the farm would always be there.
‘We have had 16 years of land acquisition in Zimbabwe and we thought we’d survived – we didn’t see this coming. We thought we had ridden our way through it, we thought we would be alright.’I don’t know what we are going to do. I can’t even think beyond tonight.’
Slamming the decision to give his land to Dr Nyatsuro, he added:
‘It doesn’t make sense to me, how a doctor who lives in the UK can come and take our land.’Land requisition was supposed to be for the landless, for the people who didn’t have anything. I thought it was for the people of Zimbawe with nothing, not for wealthy British doctors who do not live here.’But what do I know? I don’t know the law, I’m just a simple farmer. My parents have farmed tobacco over four decades, it is all we ever knew.
‘It is every family’s dream to pass on their property onto their children. My parents were going to give it to me, and I was going to pass it on to my children and their children after that.’

Arrested Metuh On Hunger Strike Over Food Poisoning Scare– Family
Olisa Metuh’s family has denied that the spokesperson of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, received N1.4 billion from the office of the National Security Adviser.
Mr. Metuh was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Monday, on allegations of corruption, and remained in detention by Wednesday evening.
In a statement signed by Gilbert Metuh, Wednesday, the family demanded that Mr. Metuh be released or charged to court.
The statement said the PDP spokesman acknowledged he delivered on an assignment for former President Goodluck Jonathan, and was duly paid.
The family said Mr. Metuh has refused to eat in detention over fears he might be poisoned.
“Our biggest concern for now is the health and safety of our son, who even before his arrest had alerted the nation about various threats to his life, a stance that is not unconnected to his position as the spokesperson of the opposition,” the statement said.
“Our position is more so as he has refused to eat following fears of intentions to poison him in detention.”

A mum, 36 year old Emma Bromfield, who was told she could never have any more children was shocked after she gave birth to a baby boy – just two days after she found out she was pregnant.
Emma and her husband Jason, 38, had not planned on adding to their family after already defying the odds to have Millie, seven, Molly, six, and 15-month-old George.
But after missing her period last month, Emma did a pregnancy test on Tuesday and was stunned when she realised she was expecting.
She went to her GP on Thursday morning after passing blood and was sent for an early pregnancy scan at the Queen’s Hospital in Burton-upon-Trent, Staffs.
Emma and her husband Jason, 38, had not planned on adding to their family after already defying the odds to have Millie, seven, Molly, six, and 15-month-old George.
But after missing her period last month, Emma did a pregnancy test on Tuesday and was stunned when she realised she was expecting.

Her doctor told her there was a heartbeat and that she was around nine weeks pregnant but could be having a miscarriage.
But Emma had the shock of her life when a midwife at the hospital told her she was actually 35 weeks pregnant.
Incredibly, the mum-of-four was taken to the maternity ward to be examined at 3.30pm where they realised she had dilated 5cm and was already in labour.
Emma then delivered a healthy baby boy Frankie, who weighed 6lb 1oz, just 40 minutes later at 4.10pm.
Sunday, Emma, who lives with her husband-of-nine years Jason in Newhall, Derbyshire, said she didn’t gain any weight or have any pregnancy symptoms.
She added:
“The nurse who was doing the scan said: ‘I don’t know what to say, this scan shows you are 35 weeks gone’. “I was in total shock. “I am not new to the signs of pregnancy and I had not had any of the morning sickness I had had with the other three.
“With George I was waddling around and couldn’t even do up my coat. “With this one I hadn’t put on any weight and I was still in my everyday jeans. “Amazingly, I’ve actually lost weight now and I’ve had to buy loads of new clothes.
“It was the best pregnancy ever. “I had read about this in magazines and always thought: ‘how could you go that long without knowing?’ And then it happened to me.”
Emma, who works as a lunchtime supervisor at a school, said everything happened so quickly that the sex of their new baby was a complete surprise.
Emma’s Husband who is a security officer said:
“I was only 15 minutes away from the hospital and probably drove through three or four red lights. “I called work to tell them I wasn’t coming in because my wife was in labour. “They said: ‘we didn’t even know your wife was pregnant ‘ and I said: ‘neither did I’.
“I got to the hospital ten minutes after Emma gave birth. “She did everything in a day instead of nine months. “We really have defied the odds. “It’s unbelievable.
“We are still in shock, but it was a nice early Christmas present for us.”
The surprise birth was made all the sweeter because when she was younger Emma had problems with her ovaries and was told she couldn’t have children.
Dad Jason added: “When I met her, we had two girls and then Emma suffered two miscarriages both at five weeks.
“She was then told she probably couldn’t have a baby boy and amazingly we’ve now had two.”
Emma added: “Our other children have taken to him really well, although Molly thought we had bought Frankie from the hospital shop and asked if it had run out of girls.

Diezani’s Lawyer Implies Dele Momodu’s Interview Was For Private Consumption, Says Family Is Upset
Oscar Onwudiwe, Mrs. Alison-Madueke’s Nigerian lawyer, in an interview with SaharaReporters, asserted that the ex-minister never intended or authorized anything from her meeting with Dele Momodu to be broadcast to the public.
According to Mr. Onwudiwe’s account, Mr. Momodu, publisher of The Boss magazine, “met (with Diezani) on a personal visit with the family.” He added that Mr. Momodu and the family had enjoyed a good relationship in the past.

Russian Plane Crash: Toddler’s Body Is Discovered 20 Miles From Crash Site
Ten-month-old Darina Gromova (pictured just before boarding the doomed flight) had been on holiday in Sharm el-Sheikh with her parents Tatiana, 26, and Alexei, 27, from St Petersburg when they, and 221 others, died shortly after their flight to Russia took off on Saturday.
The baby girl’s body was located more than 21 miles from the main crash site, indicating that the plane may exploded earlier than aviation experts have previously thought. That has forced investigators to widen the search area – and could lead to the discovery of otherwise missed clues.
The picture of little Darina, taken by her 26-year-old mother Tatiana at a St Petersburg airport shortly before they set off for Egypt, has become a symbol of the 224 victims of the disaster.
Mrs Gromova happily dubbed her daughter ‘the main passenger’ as the young family set off on a hard-earned vacation to Sharm el-Sheikh.
The remains of little Darina were sent to Cairo on Thursday after being found miles from the main crash site in the Sinai Peninsula.

Russian experts say no signs of explosives have been found on the bodies of the victims of the plane crash, but a Russian aviation official said Thursday the investigation was looking into the possibility of an object stowed on board causing the disaster
‘There are two versions now under consideration: something stowed inside (the plane) and a technical fault. But the airplane could not just break apart in the air – there should be some action. A rocket is unlikely as there are no signs of that,’ the Russian official said.

Oprah Winfrey was ambushed by a man claiming to be her ‘secret son’ after she left a recent taping of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
The 61-year-old media mogul was photographed as she attempted to deal with the man, Calvin Mitchell, during the awkward encounter outside Colbert’s New York studio.
Mitchell told Radar on Wednesday that Winfrey once asked his mother to adopt him at age 11 after he and the billionaire mogul met on the 1992 set of ABC’s movie-of-the-week, There Are No Children Here.

When he was younger, Oprah would allegedly send gifts to the boy with notes addressed: ‘To my son Calvin, I love you.’

The Truth Versus The Media Hysteria Against The Madueke Family
- In this era of cyber terrorism, decency dictates that one should response to false and defamatory allegations with silence. But there is a limit to how much any reasonable person can bear the tactics of these cyber terrorists. We all know that what makes a lie fly is the little truth contained therein. This happens to be the weapon used by most online news media to feed their weird obsession with defaming highly placed people.
- The Madueke family is appalled at the ongoing media frenzy against Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke by a section of the mass media following an invitation to her by the British authorities last Friday for reasons which have yet to be disclosed. For the avoidance of doubt, the family would like to state categorically that it has no issues with any persons from the family being invited anywhere in the world to answer questions about their private or official conduct. The Madueke family believes in law and order, honour and due process.
- However, it is clear that here is a deliberate and vicious campaign to demonise members of the Madueke family, with all manner of frivolous allegations. For example, an online news media gleefully published that Mr. Ugonna Madueke “owns at least three properties in the United States.” It even called the properties “POSH” and went on to state the addresses. THEY LIED.
- Mr. Ugonna Madueke has NO PROPERTY ANY WHERE in the United States and has NEVER OWNED ONE. The USA is a country which runs on transparency, accountability and technology. A little honest effort by the online news media would have provided in a few minutes the true ownership of the properties at issue.
- For historical accuracy, the Madueke family avers without any fear of contradiction that 11711 Scooter Lane (a three bedroom town house) in Fairfax, Virginia, was acquired by the Madueke family in 1997 when Ugonna was only 10 years old. Ugonna’s siblings lived in this property while attending George Mason University in Virginia, USA. Records available to the appropriate authorities in the United States can also show that 13116 Silver Maple Court in Bowie, Maryland, USA belongs to an uncle of the Madueke siblings and was purchased in 1995 when Ugonna was only 8 years old. As a student of the University of Maryland in 2002, Ugonna stayed with his uncle at the said address. All of this was before Mrs. Diezani was appointed to government office. No Madueke or a distant relation has anything to do with the ownership of No. 4227 Summit Manor Court in Virginia.
- It is evident that what the online news media did was to turn on an internet search engine and maliciously reported that every property where Ugonna Madueke has ever lived in the United States or used as his address must belong to him. The description of the properties as POSH was the icing on the propaganda cake. This is not only unprofessional, as it offends the tenets of journalism, it is clearly not in resonance with good conscience.
- The online news media also reported that Ugonna and his cousins registered a company by name Hadley Petroleum Solutions Limited which they have been using to deal in Nigerian crude oil sales. As young men bubbling with enthusiasm and fantasy, they registered a company but after two years of no jobs, the company folded up. The company never had a bank account, let alone being a trader of Nigeria’s crude oil. They lied.
- The online news media took its campaign to the in-laws of the Maduekes. It claimed that Mrs. Beatrice Agama, the 81 year old mother of Mrs. Diezani Madueke, owns a house in the United Kingdom. A LIE! Mrs. Agama has no house or property in the United Kingdom. She has been staying in a rented two-bedroom flat from where she is receiving medical attention for a broken femur. Her son, Timi Agama who has been living in the UK for decades, used to have a house in the UK long before his sister was appointed to government and he sold it long ago. Since then, he has no house in the UK. Archbishop Doye Agama of the Apostolic Pastoral Congress in Manchester, who is in his 60s, is a successful professional and consultant well known amongst his peers, but he does not own Unit 8 Quebec Building in Manchester which the online newspaper ascribed to him.
- As though to outdo the sensational allegations in the online publication, the mainstream media in Nigeria has been alleging that Mrs. Diezani attempted to purchase a property on Hyde Park Street in London for a whooping amount which embarrassingly ranges from 12.5 million sterling pounds to 13 billion sterling pounds. This claim is utterly false and laughable, for the amounts mentioned are only in the imagination of the reporters. This property is quite popular. It belongs to a well-known eminently successful Nigerian entrepreneur who would also find this allegation embarrassing as the intention to sell the property has neither been contemplated nor disclosed to any person.
- It is worthy to note that despite all the frenzy over Mrs. Diezani Madueke, not even one reporter or journalist has tried to contact the family to verify any of the rumors they have published with reckless abandon. This may be because they know the stories are false but it feeds the mood of the moment. Hence, the silence from Diezani all along. It is worth emphasising that Mrs Alison-Madueke was never arrested or detained and her passport was never seized. She was merely invited, and she honoured it promptly.
- The Madueke family, like most other families, have their own challenges. For instance, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke has been receiving treatment for cancer in the UK which started while she was in office. The health crisis has unfortunately exacerbated in recent times. She completed months of chemotherapy just last week and she is scheduled to undergo surgery next week in London. The family has been bearing this challenge with prayers and as much grace and fortitude as possible; and would plead with all reasonable Nigerians to pray for her recovery so that she can face this allegation and give account of her stewardship. Yes, she can—and very well, too.
- The Madueke and Agama families would want the decent public to know that neither Ugonna nor Somze or Abiye or anyone related to the two families was picked up or arrested or invited for questioning by anybody whatsoever. Ugonna’s father (the Rear Admiral) has been in Lagos and working in his office. The lies about his having travelled with a team of lawyers should please stop. The Madueke family has taken a decision on how to appropriately deal with those who are on a mission to soil their hard earned family name.

A 69-year-old man has been forced to live on the front lawn of his $1.3million mansion for six months after his angry doctor wife kicked him out.
Sharafat Khan is homeless but sleeping just a few feet away from the front door of his lavish Seabrook, Texas, home because the mother of his two children, Shahnaz, 61, changed the locks in the midst of an ongoing domestic dispute.
Someone close to the situation said Khan’s wife claims she can’t file for divorce because she and her husband practice Islam and they strictly follow Sharia law. Khan told KPRC this has nothing to do with religion and everything to do with money.

Khan doesn’t feel like he should have to leave because the home and property are just as much his. He said he wants to be allowed inside and he’s hoping he can pressure his wife into changing her mind.
“She doesn’t want me to have any sort of comfort,” he said.
Night after night he sleeps on the front porch wrapped in a sheet. During the day he tries to find shade under the trees. On Monday he was eating saltine crackers and drinking a warm bottle of water.
Neighbors said if they take him blankets and pillows, the wife takes them away.
There are signs posted all over the home instructing the neighbors not to help him or feed him.

A 25 year-old Muslim from Ghana has traveled to an Islamic State (IS) training camp, becoming the first known recruit from the West African nation to join the militant group, his family said on Tuesday.
Nazir Alema, a university graduate from Accra, had initially told his parents he was traveling to Prestea, a mining town in the country’s west.

A Florida family has been rewarded for years of treasure hunting after finding gold artifacts worth $1 million or more from the wreckage of a 1715 Spanish fleet that sank in the Atlantic Ocean.
Eric Schmitt found the coins in 15 feet of water off Fort Pierce, approximately 130 miles north of Miami. The find included 51 gold coins of various denominations and 40 feet of ornate gold chain.
The gold chains are made of small, handcrafted, two-sided links of six-petaled olive blossoms. They were called money chains and are believed to have been used as a tax-free coinage.
Under federal and state law, Florida will take possession of up to 20% of the find for display in a state museum. The Schmitt family will keep the remainder.

Emeka Ike’s Wife is not a happy woman at the moment. The lady who was yesterday in court in continuation of the suit she had filed seeking to divorce her husband is unhappy and in pains. A reporter with The Nation who was in court yesterday reports the court outcome below;
Ace Actor Emeka Ike yesterday prayed the Lagos Island Customary Court not to dissolve his marriage, saying he still loves his wife, Emma. Emma had gone to court, seeking dissolution of their 12-year-old marriage.
Emeka, represented by his counsel, Abdul’Hakeem Labi-Lawal, said his client has not appeared in court because he is ill.
“My client is ill but I will try my best possible he comes on the next adjourned date. We indulge the court to give us six months from this day to see if there is possibility of settlement between the couple,” he said.
But Mrs Ike said six months was too long adding that the respondent had two years to reconcile with her but he didn’t.
She said: “The last time I wanted to speak with our children, it was my mother-in-law who
picked the call and asked if I had read Exodus 21 which says that if I go, I shouldn’t return.”
The court’s President, Chief Awos Awosola, said the court could only grant two weeks.
He said: “I am expecting Emeka Ike in this court if he really wants settlement.”
Awosola adjourned the matter till August 12 for further hearing.
After the court rose, Mrs Ike told The Nation that she wasn’t ready to return to her husband. “Over two years since I left the house, he never taught of reconciliation. He had every opportunity to ask me to return but he didn’t. So why now?”she asked.
Mrs Ike said her husband took her last two children from her when she was going for her mother’s burial in February.
“He promised to bring them to me immediately I returned from my mother’s burial but he didn’t. Even when he didn’t allow me access to see our children, I spoke with them on several occasions but now, he doesn’t allow me anymore. My children are now against me, she said.
Mrs Ike said she left her matrimonial home because she could no longer bear being tortured anymore.
“If I was still with him, I may not survive. I was 19-year old when I met him and he was the one who deflowered me. I see no reason I shouldn’t be treated with utmost respect.
“Due to physical torture, my health has been affected. There was even a time I thought I had breast cancer because I felt a lump on one part of my breast.” Mrs Ike said.
She said things became worse last Sunday when she called her husband to speak with their children.
In tears, Mrs Ike said:”I almost went mad when my first son told me on phone that if I truly loved them, I wouldn’t have abandoned them. Even my seven-year-old son whose day wouldn’t be complete without seeing me said he doesn’t love me. I love my children. I miss my children. I never abandoned them. I am in pain. They don’t have any other mother. I really need my children. I am a good woman; I endured so many things as his wife.”
The union produced four children between ages 4 and 13.

Adebayor’s Kinsmen In Nigeria Sad Over Family Crisis
The family crisis tearing apart Emmanuel Adebayor’s family has turned out to be a source of sadness for the Tottenham Hotspur player’s relations and kinsmen in Igbaye, Odo Otin Local Government Area of Osun State. The kinsmen in Adebayor’s hometown spoke to PUNCH on the burning issue.
A visit to the sleepy town by their correspondent revealed that the youths and some elderly persons, who are football fans in the town, are not oblivious of the quarrel tearing the family apart.
The footballer’s late father, Shadrach Adebayo Adeyi, hailed from Eesa compound, one of the largest families in Igbaye.
Residents of the town said they were up to date with the family’s misunderstanding on Facebook,
expressing dismay at the manner in which it had gone public.

The famous footballer had reportedly accused his mother of witchcraft and claimed his siblings had wanted his downfall on Facebook despite helping them. His brothers and sister had also fired back through various media, slamming him for selfishness and neglect.
Relations said Emmanuel and his siblings were born and raised in Togo after their father left Ghana, when former Ghana President Jerry Rawlings drove illegal Nigerian immigrants out of the country. They said Shadrach chose to settle in Togo rather than return to Nigeria. Shadrach, according to them, married a young lady from Ekusa, a community not far from Igbaye.
The couple raised their family in Togo and Emmanuel rose to stardom, but they said the recent daily postings on Facebook by the Tottenham player had become an issue of concern to them.

The head of the Eesa family, Pa Nathaniel Okunlola, said that he and other members of the family wanted the siblings to reunite and move on with their lives.
Okunlola, who estimated his age to be around 103, said the player’s father died some years back and was buried in Togo. He said the family had cut their ties with their kinsmen in Igbaye but added that he would love to see them re-unite and return home.
Another elderly person in the family, Pa Ahmed Oyetayo, who is second in rank to the monarch of the town, said he was disturbed by the news of quarrels which had turned the family members to sworn enemies. He said:
“We are not happy about the development and we are appealing to them to stop the show of shame. I am sure their father, Shadrach, will not be happy in his grave. It is disturbing when siblings engage in this kind of dirty fight.
There is no family where there are no issues but such issues are not made public. I believe it is the handiwork of the devil. The devil will always want to cause division where there is unity and they just have to realise this and forgive one another. They can still come together and forget the past.
We do not know how their quarrel started and we won’t apportion blames but we are using this medium to reach out to them to stop this fight.
Our family here in Igbaye wants them to come home and do something (to re-establish their father’s legacy). They can rebuild their father’s house. Their father, Shadrach, built a house here when he was living in Ghana. They can rebuild it or build their own. We are proud of them and even if they will not come, they should stop the fight. We are begging them in the name of God.”

Oyetayo, who retired as a Chief Nursing Officer at General Hospital, Osogbo, Osun State, said Adebayor’s kinsmen did not have the player’s contact because their father, who used to visit Igbaye before his death, never brought home his children.
While conducting Punch’s correspondent round the bungalow built by Shadrach, Oyetayo said the man built the house when he was in Ghana but his children buried him in Togo.
One of Adebayor’s cousins, John Odesola, who is now residing at Igbaye, said he was not happy with the development among his cousins and their mother. He attributed the rift to the devil, who he said would always want to cause disaffection in any peaceful relationship. But he added that the crisis was not beyond what they could settle amicably. Odesola said:
“The crisis among the siblings is disturbing. If I could, I would visit them to see how the crisis could be solved. I will like to advise them to stop the fight, and I want to beg them to put an end to the daily accusations which is just like washing their dirty linen in the public.
There is bound to be misunderstanding even between husband and wife but making it public is not a solution to such. My brothers should think twice and discontinue their quarrel.”
Some residents concurred with Adebayor’s relations, calling on the warring siblings to end their quarrels and live peacefully together again.
Some of the residents, who said they had been following the ‘Internet war’, also blamed the devil for the crisis. But they said the mother should intensify her prayers to regain the trust of her son, who labelled her a witch.
However, some of the residents differed on the personality of Adebayor’s mother. While some said the mother might have caused the crisis by supporting one of the children against another, those who claimed that the mother was the cause of the crisis failed to provide any proof to sustain their claim.
However, a resident, who identified himself as Kunle, said he believed the story as it was told by Adebayor. But he would want the family members to end the rift.
Kunle said he believed that the family problem contributed to the loss in form, which the player struggled to cope with in the just ended season. He said:
“I think their mum knows something about the family crisis. They said she is a witch but it may be so or she may be doing something to make them believe that she is fetish. But Adebayor should beg her because the woman is his mother. No matter what has happened, he should beg her and I think his career will pick up again.”

A father has stabbed his wife and two daughters to death after researching how to cut someone’s throat – then lived with their bodies for a weekend before hanging himself, an inquest has heard.
The bodies of Jitendra Lad, 49, his wife, Dukshaben Lad, 44, and their daughters, Trisha, 19, and Nisha, 16, were discovered at their home in Clayton, Bradford, last October – days after celebrating Diwali as a family.
Mr Lad was found hanged and the three other members of the ‘model’ family had all been stabbed in their beds with a knife, in what a coroner described as a ‘scene of unimaginable horror’.
Bradford Coroner’s Court heard that Mrs Lad, also known as Daksha, and her two daughters were probably killed in the early hours of Saturday October 25.
But Mr Lad was seen by a number of people later the same weekend and probably killed himself on the Monday afternoon, two days later, the court heard.
The hearing was told how Mr Lad had no medical history of mental illness and relatives and friends said they appeared to be a normal, loving family.
But Detective Sergeant Duncan Jackson told the hearing in Bradford how Mr Lad had accessed the internet on his phone in the weeks before his death to research depression and, just days before the tragedy, he searched ‘how to cut someone’s throat and executions’.
The hearing also heard that Mr Lad had been stressed at work as an IT manager, and was concerned he had been overpromoted.
Det Sgt Jackson however told the court about an incident in Ibiza in August 2014 when the family was on holiday.
He said a woman, Lee Cartwright, told officers about a conversation she had with Mr Lad by a swimming pool in which he said he ‘disliked his current job and wanted to do something better’.
She said he went on to say how he was ‘dreading turning 50’, said he did not like Bradford and wanted to live abroad but had a duty of care to his mother.
According to the police officer, ‘Mrs Cartwright was left with the impression Jitendra was unhappy with his life’.

The U.S. government released a “sizeable tranche” of previously classified documents Wednesday, including personal letters from Osama bin Laden to members of his family.
The documents, called “Bin Laden’s Bookshelf” by the U.S. Office of the Director of National Intelligence, were found during the 2011 raid on the compound in Abbottabad where the terrorist leader was tracked down and killed.You can read all 103 declassified (and translated) documents here. Footballer Emmanuel Adebayor is still talking about his family drama in a bid to shed more light on what he has been going through in the past few years.
In his newest post, which talks about his older brother, he concludes by saying ‘But If I die, no one would know my story, no one would learn from it… Some people say I should keep these stories private, but someone has to sacrifice himself; someone has to talk about it. SEA, if I decide to bring out the Part 3 today, it is because my brother @Kola Adebayor and my other siblings have decided to talk about our family issues on social medias, through letters to my club, radios…I could write an autobiography and sell it but I decided to share with you here.25 years ago, my big older brother Kola went to Germany and he became the hope of ourfamily. We all thought he could change the way we were living. Years after he left Togo, we still had no electricity and no phones. If he wanted to talk to us, he would call the Atlantic Hotel that was very close to our house. We would then run to the hotel reception and talk to him.
When I got the opportunity to go play football in France for the first time, we needed money to for the flight tickets and other expenses. My brother was nowhere to be found. Only God knows what he was doing in Germany.When I arrived in France, I did all the paperwork with my team and they allowed me to stay in the academy. A few months later, my brother wanted to come visit me. I was running out of money and I was living at the academy. Therefore, I had to borrow money so I could pay for his hotel. At that time, my teammate Sega N’diaye from Cameroon was kind enough to lend me some money. I also had to borrow some more money because I had to give my brother some money for his trip back to Germany. Keep in mind he is my older brother.A couple years later, things started to get better. Thank God, I signed a contract with Metz. Since then, my brother would contact me whenever it was time to pay his bills. Sometimes, he would say his son is sick… I had to get used to all this.Again, I was lucky enough to get an offer from Monaco and I signed for the football club. One day, Kola and the late Peter Adebayor came to visit me in Monaco. My two brothers did not let me know they were coming. Someone said “blood is thicker than water” so I took them in. They arrived early in the morning and I was on my way to training. When I came back home, we had a discussion and they wanted to start a car business. Obviously, it involves a lot of money. He never told me why. My brothers could also not explain. Another day, one of my friends Padjoe came to visit me and as he was leaving the house, I believe I offered him about €500. My brother Kola noticed that and was very upset. He was trying to understand why I gave my friend some money right away but not him. My reason was very simple; the money he (Kola) needed was a huge amount of money that I did not carry in my house. We went on and had an argument about it.Another day, after training…I was very tired and decided to go take a nap. I woke up and a knife was held to my throat. As I opened my eyes, both of my brothers were there. They were shouting and they claimed that I was wasting their time. Peter was going mad and Kola was supporting. I asked them: “Is this the only way to solve this issue? I yes, then kill me and take the money”. It’s only at that moment that he put the knife down. After all this, I found a way out of my own apartment and I called my parents. My mom suggested that I call the police. That was the only way for me to get back into my house safely… I had training the next day, by the way. So I did what my mom said. Police came and they settled down. Again, “blood is thicker than water”, so I let it go. A few days after, Peter went to visit one of Kola’s friends in Paris. That means I was left in the house with Kola; for my own safety, I found a way to get him the money as soon as I could. Only God knows how much I gave him that day.A few months after all this, I went back to Togo and I was surprised when my mom started to ask me why I called the police on my brothers, she continued and said I am the bad person in the family. That is another story I will leave for later…Every time I went back home, everyone kept asking me why my brother never visited after all these years. Immediately, I organized a flight for him and he came back to visit the family, at my own expenses.On April 22nd 2005, we received some bad news. I received a call and they announced that my father passed away. I was devastated. I called my big brother and told him that we all have to be there. Again I made sure there was a flight ticket ready for him. We all went back home and I took care of everything. A long time before my dad died, he was in the hospital one day and he asked me to make sure his funeral is not a moment of sadness. He wanted us to celebrate his life. I leave it to God to decide if the funeral I organized for my dad was what he wanted. The man who calls himself the “big man” in the family did not contribute to anything. But he still has the boldness to say I do not take care of this family.In 2006, I had another big opportunity to go play for Arsenal. Since then, my brother has started to come up with series of false accusations against me.On July 22nd, 2013 sad news hit us in the family. My brother Peter Adebayor passed away. His death was sad and I was affected by it. One thing I find difficult to swallow today is that Kola was accusing me of Peter’s death. He is saying that the shop I opened for Peter was not good enough. He kept texting saying that my career would be destroyed. I did everything for Peter when he was alive, I brought him to Metz, and Monaco with me. What can Kola say that he has done for Peter? Nothing. As a big brother, he is supposed to be doing all that I am doing for the family. He should stop hiding and take his responsibilities. When he came to Europe, he was young enough to become a football player too. Anyways, some people are drivers here but they are able to take care of their families. They even bring their parents and other family members. Why has he not done anything like that but he keeps talking? As a matter fact, he should at least bring Rotimi, Bidemi or his own son Aziz here before talking about “taking care of the family”. How Senator Uche Chukwumerije Died, Family Opens Up
The Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, Uche Chukwumerije, is dead. He was 75.
According to a statement by a family representative, Chidi, the Senator died on Sunday after a long but gallant battle with lung cancer.
“On the evening of Sunday, the 19th of April, 2015, surrounded by his family, Comrade Uche Chukwumerije passed into the open arms of history, and of our Lord Jesus Christ, after a long but gallant battle with lung cancer,” the statement said.
“His life is many volumes, which can only be told with care and time, of dedication and focus, integrity and discipline, and an unbroken love for the highest ideals of our shared humanity.
“Details of burial arrangements will be announced in due course. We ask only for your prayers and good wishes.”

How Kano State Electoral Commissioner & Family Died- Police
The police have provided details of the tragedy as a result of which Alhaji Abdullahi Minkaila, the Kano state resident electoral commissioner, and his wife and two children died.
It was previously reported that the incident had occurred on April 2, Thursday, as the house of the official was engulfed by fire.
However, Ibrahim Idris, the state commissioner of police, disclosed that the fire started around 4am on Friday adding that the victims died from inhaling smoke.

“Today (Friday) at about 4.30am., the policemen on duty at the official residence of the resident electoral commissioner in Kano state, Alhaji Munkaila Abdullahi, located on No. 2 Sir Kashim Ibrahim Road, Nassarawa GRA, Kano, observed a fire emanating from a split air conditioner in the sitting room.
“They made several attempts to contact the late REC, as well as repeatedly banging on the slide glass to no avail. As a last resort, the police smashed some of the toilet windows still without response. Thereafter, some policemen and local guards broke the door leading to the sitting room and discovered that the sitting room has already been engulfed by fire and smoke…”

For more than four decades, Egyptian mother Sisa Abu Daooh dressed as a man to provide for her family. Last week, she was awarded the “woman breadwinner” award by the authorities in her hometown of Luxor and was congratulated in person by the Egyptian president.
Abu Daooh, 65, was celebrated on Sunday in a ceremony at the Egyptian presidential palace, where she met President Abdel-Fattah El-Sissi and received a prize of about $6,500, Agence France Presse reports. Wearing a traditional male robe and turban while receiving the award, Abu Daooh was praised by the president as “an exemplary working woman.”
Abu Daooh was pregnant with her daughter Houda when her husband passed away in the 1970s, leaving her as the sole breadwinner of the family, Al-Arabiya reported. Abu Daooh quickly found that in a traditional Egyptian society at the time, few jobs were available to illiterate women, and it proved much easier to find work dressed as a man. She took up jobs in brick making and shoe shining, but altered her appearance to avoid being harassed.
“As to protect myself from men and the harshness of their looks and being targeted by them due to traditions, I decided to be a man … and dressed in their clothes and worked alongside them in other villages where no one knows me,” she told the network.

‘Jihadi John’ Apologizes to his Family
Mohammed Emwazi has apologized to his family for the shame he has heaped on them after being unmasked as the ISIS butcher from Britain known as Jihadi John.
The Sunday Times of London reports that Emwazi, 26, a British computer science graduate, had conveyed his message of regret from Syria via a third party.
He is said to be sorry for the “problems and trouble the revelation of his identity has caused” for his parents and siblings, according to an informed source.
However, Emwazi has not expressed any remorse for his barbaric actions, which have included the on-camera beheadings of a number of Western hostages. The Londoner’s family, originally from Kuwait, have been forced into hiding after Emwazi was identified as Jihadi John 10 days ago.

Elmir reportedly told his mother he was ‘going fishing’ when he disappeared from his home in Bankstown, west Sydney, in June.
In the video, Abdullah Elmir made threats against Australia, America and Britain, warning the terrorists can’t be stopped.
It is believed to be the first time Prime Minister Tony Abbott has been explicitly mentioned by name in an Islamic State propaganda tape.
“To Obama, to Tony Abbott, I say this: These weapons that we have, these soldiers we will not stop fighting, we will not put down our weapons until we reach your lands”, he said.
