Japan Warns On Measles After Infected Fan Joins Bieber Concert

Japanese authorities have warned of a possible measles outbreak after a fan who went to a Justin Bieber concert near Tokyo was diagnosed with the contagious disease, officials said Friday.

A 19-year-old man had a fever of more than 39 degrees Celsius (102 degrees Fahrenheit) and a rash over his body after returning from Indonesia earlier this month, the Disease Control and Prevention Center (DCC) and local media have said.

Despite the condition, the man, whose name was withheld, went to Bieber’s concert on August 14 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, east of Tokyo, where some 25,000 fans gathered for the event, they said.

The man, from the western Japanese city of Nishinomiya, then stopped in Tokyo and neighbouring Kanagawa prefecture before returning home on August 19, when he was finally diagnosed with measles.

“Measles is highly infectious,” an official at Japan’s health and welfare ministry told AFP.

“It could lead to a fatal case,” he added, issuing warnings to hospitals across the nation to be aware of an outbreak.

Concert organisers on their website also asked those who attended to see doctors if they developed symptoms.

Kylie Jenner Attacked By Fan At Chris Brown’s Concert

Kylie Jenner was attacked by an overzealous fan at a Chris Brown show at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif., on Friday, Sept. 18 — but luckily for the reality star, her now-infamous bodyguards were on-hand to get her to safety.

In a TMZ video, the 18-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star can be seen trying to make her way out of the concert (in a colorful printed outfit and long green-blonde hair) when a fan reaches out and grabs her locks.

Jenner’s head actually snaps back and she grimaces from the tug, but her bodyguards quickly step in to usher her out of the venue.

Kanye West Justifies Wheelchair Incidence

Kim Kardashian And Kanye West Have Dinner Date In Miami

Kanye West has stood up to defend himself as regards to the recent media lash, which accused him of insisting that a handicapped fan must stand during one of his concerts.

During a performance in Brisbane on Monday, West took a moment to explain his side of the story and criticize the media for highlighting Friday’s misunderstanding.  He said,

“They’ve got this thing where they want the masses, the people who’ve never even heard one of my albums, to somehow read a headline that reads negative and to think that I’m a bad person. But the thing is … I’m a married Christian man with a family,” West said during his five-minute speech. “At my concerts, I make sure everybody has as good a time as possible. So all this demonizing me, it ain’t going to work after a while. Pick a new target, because I’m not one of these dumba** artists that you’re used to.”

His wife, Kim Kardashian West, also took on Instagram backing her husband’s justification on the wheelchair incidence. She said, “It’s frustrating that something so awesome could be clouded by lies in the media… Kanye never asked anyone in a wheel chair to stand up & the audience videos show that. He asked for everyone to stand up & dance UNLESS they were in a wheel chair.”
