36 year old man rapes 11-year-old boy in Abuja

A 36-year-old man, Idris Ayuba, was on Tuesday arraigned in a Gudu Upper Area Court, Abuja, for allegedly defiling an 11-year-old boy.

Ayuba is facing a charge of unnatural offence.

The prosecutor, Mr. Adeniyi Oyeyemi, told the court that one Kelechi Agba of ECWA church, Kogo, Bwari, reported the matter at the police station on November 29.

He alleged that the defendant called his victim to his room and defiled him.

“Ayuba had sexual intercourse with the boy through his anus,” he said.

Oyeyemi urged the court not to grant the defendant bail arguing that the offence was not bailable.

He said, “The police had refused to grant him administrative bail on the grounds that he will abscond.”

The defence counsel, Mr. Ezenwa Ojum, however, urged the court to grant his client bail on liberal terms.

The judge, Mr Umar Kagarko, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N100, 000, with one surety in like sim, who must reside within the court’s jurisdiction.

Kagarko adjourned the case till March 9, 2017 for mention.

Residents React To The Lynching Of 7 Year Old Boy

Residents have expressed shock and disapproval over an incident where a young boy of about seven year-old was burnt to death in Lagos, Wednesday, for allegedly stealing cassava flakes, otherwise known as “Garri,” describing it as “barbaric.”

The alleged boy was reportedly lynched for stealing by yet to be apprehended perpetrators.

Residents who reacted to the incident have called on Nigeria Police authorities to go after the perpetrators and bring them to justice to serve as deterrent to others.

One Ms Sharon Samuel reacted thus: “If the killers of this boy are not brought to book then there is no more hope for anyone in this country. Garri seller, may be your garri is meant for ritual purpose else why should you raise an alarm that caused the death of this boy. Don’t blame Buhari but blame our wicked world. The end is more than near,” Sharon said.

Another who identified simply as Queen Chi Chi, said, “What about those bank armed robbers, what about Nigerian politicians that are busy stealing and syphoning Nigeria’s money into their private accounts, are they not thieves? Why beating the boy to death because of ordinary garri, dastardly things to do.”

Ebere Chidima, another resident, said, “Those that burnt that little boy for merely stealing garri and even those that stood by and watched the sin being committed are guilty of the same offence. Jesus Christ said; he who is without sin let him cast the first stone.

“The Police authorities should go after these perpetrators of this dastardly act.”

Teacher Nabbed For Alleged Sodomy With 10 Year Old Boy

A primary school teacher, Obi, aged 20, has been arrested by the Oyo State Police Command for allegedly having anal intercourse with a 10-year-old boy.

He allegedly committed the offence on November 5 at Asaka Itamaya area of Ibadan. He was accused of luring the boy to a house in the vicinity to commit the crime.

Collins was also an extra-mural class teacher to the boy. He was said to have threatened the boy that something bad would befall him if he told anybody about the alleged sodomy.

The boy reported the incident to his mother, who took the case to the Iyaganku Police Station.

Obi, who confessed to the offence, said he was introduced to sodomy by an older friend, who is on the run.

The police spokesman, Mr. Adekunle Ajisebutu, a Superintendent, confirmed the incident.

According to him, “arrest of the suspect was made following a report made at the Iyaganku Police Station by the victim’s mother after the former reported the incident to her.

Boy Who Became Viral Meme Raises Thousands Of Dollars

A chubby-cheeked little boy whose serious expression turned him into a meme could end up educating an entire village.

Jake has become one of the most famous schoolchildren in South Africa since people began sharing a picture of him, joking he was everything from a grumpy driving instructor to an unimpressed security guard.

But Jake lives thousands of miles north, in a small village in eastern Ghana, unaware of his new-found fame.

In fact, up until Wednesday, not even the man who took the photograph knew it had proved such a hit.

Cameraman Carlos Cortes travelled to Ghana in 2015 to make a documentary about Solomon Adufah, an artist returning to his home country from the US.

The picture of Jake, then four, was one of hundreds taken by Cortes while Adufah taught art and creative studies to the children.

“I just caught Jake in the moment of his teaching,” Cortes, of Chicago, told the BBC. “He definitely has a pensive look on his face.”

The two men then returned to the States, unaware they had captured a future star.

But the schoolboy’s picture began doing the rounds after Adufah shared it on his Instagram account.

When he first realised it had gone viral, he was unsure of how to react to the posts, worried they were making fun of Jake.

“I thought, I’m not going to respond,” the 27-year-old told the BBC. “But then I remember a moment when I thought, what if all these ‘likes’ turned into actual funds to help?”

Jake and his friends live in a rural village, and for some families sending their children to school is more than they can afford.

What is more, the primary school is also in need of supplies.

“I remember one day we spent 20 minutes just trying to make sure we had enough pencils for all the kids,” Mr Cortes said. “That’s what the campaign is really about.”

So Adufah, who has lived in the US since he was 16, set up a fundraising campaign, hoping Jake will really inspire people to turn their likes into cash to help pay for his education, and that of the other children in the village.

Within 24 hours, it had raised $2,000 (£1,642) – 10% of its target.

Adufah said: “This money could make a huge difference to the kids – this could be something really positive going forward.”

Video Of Police Killing 6 Year Old Autistic Boy Released

A court in the US state of Louisiana has released a video showing law enforcement officers fatally shooting a 6-year-old autistic boy last November.

The tape shows two deputy city marshals opening fire on a car, killing the boy and critically wounding his father in the city of Marksville.

Jeremy Mardis, who had autism, died at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds. His father, Chris Few, survived.

Prosecutors showed the tape in court to support their claim that one of the deputies had a pattern of using excessive force.

Police say the officer’s chased the boy’s father after he drove off from an argument with his girlfriend.

Defense attorneys argued the deputies acted in self-defense and claim the boy’s father rammed into a deputy’s vehicle before they fired.

However, the judge said the footage doesn’t show the boy’s father using his car as a deadly weapon at the time of the shooting.

The release of the video came days after several African American men were killed by police in the states of California, Oklahoma and North Carolina.

Schoolboy Dies After Taking Sweet, When Sweet Company Failed To Say Sweet Was Made Of Peanut

A schoolboy with a severe peanut allergy died after eating a sweet made from the nuts at a religious festival. An inquest into the tragic death of Aaron O’Farrell at Chesterfield Coroner’s Court heard there were no warnings on the packaging that the sweet was made entirely from peanuts.

The youngster had been at a Hindu religious festival in Birmingham, held 20 days before Diwali, the festival of lights. The sweets were given out by organisers as worshippers left the event.

The 11-year-old was at home with his parents James and Jayne just before lunchtime when he ate a
small piece of the sweet.

Within moments he started feeling sick and was given a soft drink, but soon began having difficulty
breathing.

His brother gave him a shot from his epipen and he was still conscious when paramedics arrived, but then went into cardiac arrest.

By the time the ambulance had raced the seven miles from his semi-detached home in Doe Lea, Derbys, to Chesterfield Royal Hospital his heart had stopped beating.

Medics battled to save the “kind and courageous” youngster, but he was pronounced dead later in hospital.

Chesterfield Coroners Court heard Aaron had been diagnosed with a peanut allergy when he was five after he had suffered skin rashes and a wheezy chest after being in the same room as peanuts.

A post mortem after the fatal incident on Sunday 28, September, 2014, showed an “abundance of mucus” and blood in his airways which was consistent with a severe allergic reaction.

Tests showed increase levels of the enzyme tryptase which confirmed Aaron had suffered anaphylaxis.

Aaron had started secondary school the day before he died.

Pastor Rapes 13-Year-Old boy In Attempt To Cure Homosexuality

A pastor with the Jesus Miracle Ministries, Awka, Anambra State, Ekene Adaoji, has fled after allegedly raping a 13-year-old boy.

PUNCH Metro gathered that the pastor was told by a traditionalist that his homosexual habit would be cured if he slept with a male teenager. The victim, who hails from Ebonyi State, said the suspect tricked him by asking him to stay behind after a vigil.

He said, “The pastor told me to wait till dawn and when I insisted on going home, he applied a substance on my eyes which made me to sleep.”

“When I woke up, I noticed that my trousers were torn and my anus was damp. I also felt pains in my anus. I went home to inform my people about what happened.”

A relative of the victim, Ngozi, said the family was not aware that Abuchi went to the church that night. She said after Abuchi told them about what happened, they rushed to the church only to discover that the pastor had fled. The Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Nkiru Nwode, said the police had launched a manhunt for the pastor.

“The victim has been taken to a hospital for treatment,” he added.

Python Bites Boy While He Sleeps

A little boy has been bitten and attacked by a python while asleep at home in the Australian town of Macksville.

Six-year-old Tyler Thurgood screamed with fear as the three-metre carpet python curled itself around him bit him several times on his face and hand.

Mum Tamara described how she ran into the boy’s room and tore the snake from her child.

“It was like a nightmare,” she told the Nambucca Heads, the local newspaper for the New South Wales town.

“It was a terrifying scream and I didn’t know what had happened – I certainly didn’t think it involved a snake.

“I have no idea how it even got into the house.

“I tried to pull Tyler from the bed but he didn’t come with me … I had to roll him, then pull.

“I saw his face and the blood and his eyes were still closed so I don’t think he was fully awake.

“I tried to check him over but he wouldn’t let me touch him anywhere.”

Relatives arrived at the home soon after and killed the snake, while Ms Thurgood took her son to hospital – he was released the same day.

“Tyler doesn’t remember anything – which is the best part,” Tamara said.

“He was only complaining about his finger hurting. He tapped his head on the way to hospital and he asked me why he was bleeding.

“He wouldn’t know that a snake had bitten him if we hadn’t told him or if people hadn’t been talking about it.”

A local reptile handler said it was the first time he had heard of such an incident, despite having worked with snakes for more than 10 years.

Another expert said it was possible the python had gone for the child, not realising how big he really was.

Man Arrested For Raping Five-Year-Old Boy

22-year-old Ganiu Amusa, was arrested by the Lagos State Police Command on Sunday for allegedly raping a five-year-old boy, in the Alakuko area of the state.

It was gathered that Thompson, who lived with his family on Oremeji Street, had complained about pains in his anus when his mother, Adenike Ejigbo, gave him a bath.

The boy was said to have tod his mum that Amusa had lured him to a place where he (Amusa) allegedly penetrated his anus. The mother was said to have raised the alarm and reported the matter at the Alakuko Police Division. But the case had been transferred to the State Department of Criminal Investigation, Yaba, on Monday for further investigation.

A police source said that the suspect had confessed to the crime.

He said:

“The boy had been complaining about pains in his anus to his mother. He had been having pains since the day the suspect penetrated his anus. That was how the mother reported the matter at the police station.

“The suspect did not deny the incident. He is blaming the devil. But the matter has been transferred to the SDCI, Yaba.”

The Lagos State Deputy Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Aliyu Giwa, confirmed the arrest.

ISIS Throws Syrian Teenage Boy Off A Roof For Being Gay But The ISIS Chief Who Raped Him Is Spared

Militants of the Islamic State (ISIS) executed a teenage boy by throwing him off a roof in Syria’s eastern city of Deir ez-Zor for being gay, local sources reported on Friday.
The 15-year-old boy was arrested by ISIS militants on charges of homosexuality and he was thrown from the top of a building in central Deir ez-Zor.

“The horrific execution took place in front of a large crowd,” a local media activist and an eyewitness told ARA News in Deir ez-Zor.

An informed source reported that the victim was captured “in the house of an ISIS leader” earlier on Thursday.

“The boy was accused of being engaged in a homosexual relation with the prominent ISIS officer Abu Zaid al-Jazrawi,” media activist Sarai al-Din told ARA News.

While the boy was executed, Abu Zaid was expelled to Iraq after being deprived of his position.

“Abu Zaid was forced to leave Syria and join the fighting fronts in northwestern Iraq. The decision has been taken by the ISIS leadership,” al-Din said.

According to pro-ISIS sources, the Sharia Court in Deir ez-Zor had demanded the execution of Abu Zaid for being homosexual, but the ISIS top commanders insisted to let him join the battlefronts in Iraq instead, as the group has been recently exposed to heavy losses in battles both in Syria and Iraq.

The video of the shooting of 17-year-old Laquan McDonald (pictured inset) has been released and it’s chilling. The dashcam footage shows a white police officer, Jason Van Dyke, (pictured inset right) shooting Laquan dead on the streets of Chicago. He shot Laquan 16 times at point blank range for 13 seconds as the young man laid motionless on the ground with smoke rising from his back.

The police officer claimed he felt threatened by the teenager and that was why he used his gun but he has since been charged with first-degree murder.

Teen Finds Out He’s Been Missing for 13 Years When He Tries to Apply for College

Straight out of a Lifetime movie comes this insane story from Ohio about a missing boy found safe and sound 13 years after he was abducted. Guess what? He didn’t even know he had been abducted!

On Aug. 28, 2002 in Vestavia Hills, Ala. 5-year-old Julian Hernandez was reported missing by his mother. Ever since then Vestavia Hills Police have been following leads to find Hernandez, who police thought was kidnapped by his father and non-custodial parent, Bobby Hernandez. After 13 years, Julian who is now 18 years old and had no idea he had been kidnapped, just turned up in Ohio all because he was trying to apply to college.

According to Jefferson County District Attorney Brandon Falls, Julian discovered his Social Security number didn’t match his name when he was filling out applications. With the help of a school guidance counselor, the two found out Julian was listed in the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children database.

Julian’s father Bobby has since been arrested in Cleveland and is in jail. A Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office representative said he’s been jailed for faking information given to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles and for altering records. He may also be facing an interference of custody charge in Alabama, where authorities are trying to extradite him to.

Julian’s mother is “ecstatic” about his return home and through a representative released this statement:

“Our family was overjoyed this week to locate Julian and learn that he is safe. We want to thank everyone for their prayers and support during Julian’s disappearance. Although we appreciate the interest our story has generated, we will have to decline any requests for interviews or additional information at this time. We ask that the media respect our privacy as we focus on Julian’s well-being during this difficult time in his life.”

6 Year Old Boy Found Dead In School Bus After Being Left There For Hours

Abdul Malak Al Awadh, 6, was sleeping when the bus reached his private school in city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. According to Saudi daily Okar, all the students got off, but none of them woke him up.

The driver took the bus to the parking lot and left it there until the end of the school day. By the time he returned later to pick up students, Abdul was found dead, having died of suffocation in the bus..

Abdul Malak’s father and uncle said that the school was responsible for his tragic death.

“My nephew did not suffer from any ailment or health issue when he got on the bus with his classmates to go to school,” Abdul’s uncle Yahya Al Awadh, told Okaz. “When he was late to come home at the end of the school day, his father became worried and tried to contact the school, but no one answered him. He later received a phone call from the school administration informing him that his son was sick. He went there with his wife and both had the shock of their lives when they heard that their only son was dead. They felt devastated.” he added.

The uncle said the family was puzzled over the absence of a chaperone to accompany the young students on the bus to and from school. He said the family was also shocked that the school had failed to contact them to ask about the reason their son did not attend classes that day.

The head of the education district in Jeddah Province Abdullah Al Thaqafi, ordered an immediate investigation of the incident. The police launched their own probe into the tragedy. “Investigators are questioning all parties following the medical report that determined the causes of death,” a security source said.

Pennysylvania Teen Detained Over Threats To Attack Pope Francis During U.S tour

A teenage boy in Pennsylvania has been detained by the FBI for allegedly threatening to launch an ISIS-inspired assault on Pope Francis during the Catholic leader’s US tour, ABC News reports.

“The minor was inspired by ISIS and sought to conduct a detailed homeland attack which included multiple attackers, firearms, and multiple explosives, targeting a foreign dignitary at a high-profile event,” said a joint intelligence bulletin by the FBI and Department of Homeland Security cited by ABC News.

Pope Francis is arriving the U.S next week for a six day trip.

“The minor obtained explosives instructions and further disseminated these instructions through social media,” said the joint intelligence bulletin.

The teenager has been charged with attempting to provide material support to a terrorist organisation and attempting to provide material support to terrorist activity, the bulletin added. But the network said sources familiar with the case emphasised that any threat from him was not imminent. Questions about the boy’s mental health were also raised.

Despite repeated threats from ISIS and other groups to target the Pope and the Vatican more broadly over the past year, there is no specific, credible threat to the Pope during his visit to the United States next week, law enforcement officials said Monday.

“We will not comment on any specific investigation or threat,” a spokeswoman for the FBI’s field office in Philadelphia said in a statement sent to The Independent.

“The FBI is working closely with the United States Secret Service and our federal, state and local partners in advance of the papal visit to ensure the safety and security of all.” she added.

Police Arrests Man For Raping 8 Year Old Boy In Bauchi

An 18-year-old man has been arrested by the Bauchi State Police Command,for raping an eight-year-old boy.

The suspect, Mustapha Abdullahi, committed the offence on Saturday at about 4pm.

He added that police detectives attached to the Dass division arrested Abdullahi in Wandi District in the Dass Local Government Area of Bauchi State.

“The suspect lured an eight-year-old boy and had unlawful carnal knowledge of him against the order of nature. The victim was rushed to the Dass General Hospital for medical examination..The suspect will be charged to court as soon as investigation is concluded.”

Passengers on a Bus Rapid Transit going to the CMS area of Lagos on Wednesday were forced to become emergency midwives and labour attendants when a pregnant woman was delivered of a bouncing baby boy inside the bus.

PUNCH Metro learnt that the woman, identified simply as Afolaranmi, was going to a private hospital in CMS for a medical checkup, when she started her labour.

It was gathered that some medical workers in the bus organised other passengers to help in delivering the baby.

It was learnt that the mother was delivered of the baby at about 12pm, around the Constain bus stop. I wish her good health and life full of joy.

Another Black Boy Shot by US Police (Watch Video)

A video was released on Wednesday showing the police officers involved in the killing of the 12-year-old African-American boy who was carrying a fake gun in Cleveland, Ohio.

Tamir Rice was shot by officers on Saturday and was rushed to a local hospital, but was pronounced dead on Sunday morning.

The officers involved said the boy refused to raise his hands and tried to pull the fake gun from his waistband outside the Cudell Recreation Center in Cleveland.

However, the video released by the state police on Wednesday clearly shows that one of the officers shot the boy seconds after he got out of the patrol car.

The video, containing stuttered images with no sound, shows the boy walking and pointing his fake gun in different directions. He then enters a gazebo before officers arrive in their patrol car. The first officer, Timothy Loehmann, gets out of the car and shoots the boy instantaneously.

Deputy Cleveland Police Chief Edward Tomba said the release of the video should not be regarded as a way to explain actions taken by the officers or the young man.

“This is not an effort to exonerate. It’s not an effort to show the public that anybody did anything wrong,” said Tomba. “This is an obvious tragic event where a young member of our community lost their life. We’ve got two officers that were out there protecting the public that just had to, you know, do something that nobody wants to do.”

The incident has sparked anger among the residents of the community. The US is already reeling from the aftershocks of a grand jury decision over the death of another black teenager in Missouri which sparked massive protests across the country over the past two days.
