PDP Expels 20 Over Anti-Party Activities (See List)

The Imo State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expelled Senator Ifeanyi Ararume and 19 others from the party. They were expelled from the party for alleged gross anti-party activities during the recent governorship election in the state.

Others expelled include two other governorship aspirants in the state, Jerry Chukwueke and Humphrey Anumudu.

The rest are Gibson Achonwa, C. Y Amako, Charles Amadi, Kingsley Onunuju, Ethelbert Okere, Jones Uzoka,  Nkem Nwankwo, Independence Ogunewe, Nnamdi Obiaraeri,  Bethel Nzimako, Celestine Uwakwe,  J.C.N. Harcourt, Sunny Heart Ibe,  Aznubuike Ekwegh,  Jeph Ojinaka,  J. I. J. Njoku and Stan Nzekwe.

I Want To Unseat Okorocha For Good Governance Of My People – Ararume

An aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party in Imo State, Senator Ifeanyi Ararume, has given reasons why he wants to unseat the incumbent governor of the state, Owelle Rochas Okorocha.

According to Senator Ararume, the inability of past governments in the state to resolve development issues facing the state made him enter the race once again.

He said: “I really want the opportunity to be able to salvage the heartland of Igboland. For me, I had the aspiration first in 2007 but it didn’t work out that time.
“I strongly believe that Imo State being the heartland of the South East will work well and serve its people if the right leadership is in place.
