President Buhari begins 2-day visit to Edo State.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday arrived Benin airport to begin a two-day working visit to Edo.

 

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Mr. Buhari, who arrived at about 10: 43 a.m aboard Air Force flight 5N-FGW, was received by Gov. Adams Oshiomhole.

 

He inspected a guard of honour mounted by military personnel before proceeding to the palace of the Oba of Benin, Oba Ewuare N’gidigan II, on a courtesy visit.

 

NAN reports that some of the dignitaries at the airport included the APC National Chairman, John Oyegun, Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, the state governor-elect, Godwin Obaseki, service commanders, lawmakers, and other party leaders.
