Amber Rose Vs Beyhive: Read How It All Happened

Amber Rose summoned the wrath of the Beyhive when she directed her analysis on the unfortunate occurrence of slut-shaming towards Beyonce. Inquiring about why she and other stars such as Kim Kardashian are criticized for their sexuality and Mrs. Carter goes unscathed, the model/writer/entrepreneur encouraged women to “all embrace each other.”

“They come at me and Kim so hard because I was a stripper and she had a sex tape,” she said in an interview with The Daily Beast. “So if we could sing, it would be OK if we were on stage half-naked. We all love Beyoncé, but she’s on stage half-naked and twerking all the time, yet people say, oh, she has talent so she’s able to do that. We don’t have the talent that Beyoncé has, so we get criticized as former sex workers, but at the end of the day we’re just women—we’re all women—and we should all embrace each other. No one is greater.”

And as with any less-than-favorable commentary involving Queen Bey, her fans – known as the Beyhive – came to the singer’s defense against Amber.

The buzzing must have flooded Amber’s mentions heavily, as she took to Twitter to encourage critics not to take her “words out of context.” She also mentioned that she herself is a member of the Beyhive, and that her argument was rooted in classism.
