The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, Celestina Kalu, has confirmed the release of the kidnapped traditional ruler, Odio Ologbo of Olomoro Kingdom, HRM Omosioni Aghaza.
The Olomoro was abducted on Friday, February 29, from his palace and taken away in a dark-green Range Rover SUV.
According to the Police PRO, the monarch was recovered by combined efforts of Police and vigilante while conducting a guided search in a bush around Sapele area.
The victim has been escorted to his palace where he has since reunited with his family.
Meanwhile efforts are being made to arrest the miscreants.
Barely a week earlier, the traditional ruler of Ubulu-Uku, Obi Akaeze Ofulue the III, was found dead in the thick bush of Umunede, Ika Local Government Area after being held for about two weeks by his abductors.
