The Permanent Secretary in the ministry of power, Amb. Godknows Igali, has disclosed that the steady increase in power supply recently experienced in the country is occasioned by the charge of President Muhammadu Buhari to power sector operators to redouble their efforts in the quest of ensuring uninterrupted power supply to Nigerians during his tenure.
Igali made the disclosure while signing Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) with two indigenous investors in the power sector namely Messrs. New Horizons Energy Resources and Quaint Global Energy Solutions. The firms are interested in renewable projects, especially solar, biomass and thermal plant respectively.
