The former governor of Lagos State and national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) had denied endorsing any candidate as the next Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly.
Tinubu, who was reacting to rumours that he has anointed the former secretary of the party in the state, Wasiu Sanni-Eshinlokun to succeed Adeyemi Ikuforiji as the next Speaker of House, said he has no intention of endorsing anybody for the position.
Tinubu was speaking when he met some party leaders in his Bourdillon road, Ikoyi residence. He accused some individuals in the state of using his name for their selfish interests.
