Nigeria’s President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, is currently meeting with all incumbent and elected governors of the All Progressives Congress, APC, at his Defence House official residence in Abuja.
Details of the meeting were not clear at the time of this report. But some sources said the meeting will discuss the composition of Mr. Buhari’s cabinet.
Governors are considered leaders of the party in their states and they are expected to submit lists of nominees for Ministerial positions to the president for consideration.
Sources at the Defence House said each of the governors would nominate three persons from their states, while the president-elect is expected to pick one.
