An aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party in Imo State, Senator Ifeanyi Ararume, has given reasons why he wants to unseat the incumbent governor of the state, Owelle Rochas Okorocha.
According to Senator Ararume, the inability of past governments in the state to resolve development issues facing the state made him enter the race once again.
He said: “I really want the opportunity to be able to salvage the heartland of Igboland. For me, I had the aspiration first in 2007 but it didn’t work out that time.
“I strongly believe that Imo State being the heartland of the South East will work well and serve its people if the right leadership is in place.
