The Egyptian foreign minister, Sameh Shoukri says “an international approach” is needed against the enforcement of “Barbarism” of the ISIL Takfiri militant groups in Syria and Iraq.

He said on, “What we need is a collective and international approach that takes into account all the different elements required to fight this phenomenon: political, military and social.” He also added that “only with an international commitment” the world could “get rid of this barbarism.” He further stated that Cairo is “ready to support the international community in terms of what might be decided on this subject” after a United Nations Security Council resolution.

The ISIL Takfiri militants have been dominating northeastern Syria as well as threatening communities, including Shias, Sunnis, Kurds, Christians, and Izadi Kurds in Iraq and have been committing gruesome crimes against humanity.

According to Amnesty International, the terror group is carrying out “systematic ethnic cleansing” in northern Iraq.
