Fayemi, Elrufai, Okei-Odumakin, others for youth economic summit

The Nativity project will hold the third edition of the National Youth Economic Summit (NAYES) and Nigerian Youth Merit Award (NYMA) on December 12 and 13 respectively at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Alausa-Ikeja.

This year’s edition which is themed: “Help Our Youths The Truth To Know: Exposing The Nigerian Youth To Emerging World Economies”, will have in attendance the Governor, Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, former Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Nasir Elrufai, President, Campaign for Democracy, Dr. Joe Okei-Odumakin, senior partner at SIAO and Partners, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, ace musician, Dapo Oyebanjo (D’banj) among others.

Project Coordinator, Nativity Project, Michael Adeyeye said: “The annual two-day economic summit hopes to gather Nigerian youths from different fields of human endeavours under the same platform with established thought leaders from selected works of life. It is a practical empowerment summit that seeks to equip Nigerian youths with the knowledge, skill and the consciousness of mind to take their place at the forefront local and global socio-economic transformations.”

Nominees of the Nigerian Youth Merit Award include: winner of CNN African Journalist of the Year Award, Tolu Ogunlesi, Founder of Bella Naija, Uche Pedro, social media expert, Japheth Omojuwa, Managing Director Konga, Sim Shagaya, Co-founderof JUMIA, Tunde Kehinde, comedian, Teju Babyface, Channels Television presenter, Maupe Ogun, Wazobia FM presenter, Onu Yaw and others.
