My Review:
Feyi Fawehinmi’s handle is arguably my best in the Nigerian Twitter space. That arguability is simply because I don’t have a best at anything, otherwise, on many days, on many issues, Feyi stands out. He is so good, some people consider themselves intellectuals just because Feyi discusses economic issues with them. The shocking thing is, despite the esoteric value he brings to Twitter, Nigeria being a place where people never really know what they want, Feyi is on a relatively paltry under 5000 followers. I expect that after you read this, you will follow Feyi – for your own sake -if you really want to improve your knowledge base…daily. His What I Learnt Today #WILT series are astounding to say the least. Feyi will not need to monetize. He works at one of the prime places somewhere around a street where Kanye West, Beyonce and Jay Z cross roads when they go to England. He is rich enough to not give a hoot about monetizing. Should he need some extra cash, his is one of the handles I can turn to money in a flash. He subs and even tweet-fights in an FF way but when he really doesn’t like you or you do something he really hates, he goes really hard – Bolaji Abdullahi and his SAs can testify. Just like some people consider having a debate on economic and financial matters with @DoubleEph makes them intellectuals, I’d never consider you an intellectual if you are not following him :-). He was a very useful member of the OccupyNigeria team despite being thousands of miles away. If my memory serves me right…it does, he was the biggest donor at a time we needed to have our own media campaign. It is only on Feyi’s timeline you will find out that there is a country in this world that imports trash. What else counts here if you are not making money, you are not having fun, follow this handle to at least learn things that’d most certainly come useful. If he engages you in one or two tweets, inform me so that I can give you “Twitter Intellectual” certificate.

My Review:
I can bet my money on at least one of the adjectives in @TWEETORACLE’s Bio being permanently true. You may never come across a Twitter handle more controversial. He is loved by some, he is hated by others. When you look at the fact that he has over 25,000 followers you want to wonder “what is he saying, or doing right?.” Well, this space is not about rightness or wrongness, it is about knowing what works, what you want and delivering on that. What works may not work for many but if you are able to make 25,000+ people follow you and you didn’t buy followers like the Jonathan administration had to do for one of its officials on Twitter, then who cares what people say. Aura Cool tweets the dirtiest and annoyingest – there is no word like that but he that annoying – so you have to ask why is he that powerful? He is because he is one of himself on Twitter. There is only one Aura Cool so it is easy for him to attract all the people who like the personality he oozes to all be gathered in one place. He started his own website recently. He has been bullish about its publicity and within such a short period of time, his site is already one of the better known on Twitter. That follows one of my old tweets that states “the number of your Twitter followers is directly proportional to the number of visitors to your site, other factors held constant.” Most of my brainy friends would wonder why Aura Cool has more followers than @DoubleEph for instance but why wonder? In Nigeria, Terry G sells more albums than Dare Art Alade and we don’t wonder. Sometimes, it is not about what you do, but about what people want. 25,299 people are following this handle, take it or leave it, hate him or love him, he certainly must be doing something right. I don’t exactly know what he is doing right – sincerely I do but I don’t have to say it – but I know the fact that he is able to take his own stand, be his own self irrespective of what largely unknown people think of him, stands him out. You are probably not following this handle but you are most likely to know he exists than you know an @omojuwa exists. That is what he wants and he has it.

My review:

His English is disaster but his videos are worse. The first time I saw this guy’s video, just a few days ago, I laughed so hard my belly ached into the night. His was also the first Youtube video I saw that had more dislikes in thousands than likes. Without an in-depth look, one may be tempted to disregard this artiste but what makes him look whack and weak is indeed his strength. He is Nigeria’s Justin Bieber in a kind of way. Justin Bieber was so good his Youtube video shot him to limelight and conversely, Vic.O is so bad his Youtube videos have more views than those you consider good artistes. If everyone of us does not care about what Vic.O does or tweets, folks who are looking to succeed as musicians should care. Think about it, if Vic. O is regarded as an overly whack artiste and he is getting all this attention – I even saw Toke Mankinwa or a VJ with a name that looks like this, interview him – something must be right with what may be wrong with him. He tours Europe and even though I am tempted to believe people who attend his shows do so for the comedy value it has the potential of offering, the young man goes to the bank and he gets to buy more blings – you can’t say they are fake because you don’t have one – and lives his own kind of dream. Why evuls? Yes, he owns that question and imagine the fact that saying it trips me too. LOL.

PS: Who do you really want me to review? If I get the time for it, I’d do this at least every other day.
