. Team to resume camp in Lagos tomorrow
The Nigeria Football Federation has confirmed Mr. Oladunni Oyekale as
Head Coach of the Five–A-Side National Football Team, otherwise known
as Futsal Eagles.
The Federation is making arrangements for the team to start camping in
Lagos from Wednesday in preparation for a FIFA Futsal World Cup
qualifying match against Gabon early next month.
Oyekale said on Monday: “Yes, we are inviting players to camp as from
Wednesday. We are going to rely heavily on players from the Ultimate
Five-A-Side Football Competition that has been going on for a few
years now, for us to prosecute the World Cup qualifier. I have been
following the competition myself and I believe we have players good
enough to do the nation proud”.
