About 10 minutes ago on my way to Yaba this happened. I was just telling Azenarh a friend of mine from the north that “this is Lagos” as we watched the women and their customers go through the Lagos hustle and all. Then as if on cue the other side of Lagos that rears its head once in while showed itself. Folks started running helter skelter you would think a bomb was about to explode.
We chose to calm down to at least identify the problem. There it was, a police man, a commercial motor cycle rider (okada) and a danfo driver were the actors. At the end of the day the okada man apparently trying to escape the polic man found himself and his bike under the bus as they both swerved to the right side of oyinbo bus stop the market women barely escaping death. Thankfully there was no casualty but it was really close especially for the okada rider who eas rescued by the good people of Lagos state. Pictures below.
