It started like a needless battle by the Nigerian government on behalf Arik Air but it has turned into a much needed victory for the people of Nigeria. The Minister of Aviation did everything to ensure the imbalance of pricing for tickets against Nigerians was taken into account as she dealt with the foreign airlines who had apparently gotten used to milking Nigerians.
Nigerians matter and Mrs. Stella Oduah has shown much more signs of that than the entire administration of President Goodluck Jonathan. We wish her the best as she looks to position Nigeria’s airports as an ideal destination for airlines and Nigeria’s aviation industry a force of change in this administration.
